What a beautiful place. The grounds are very well manicured. First time here and thoroughly enjoyed it. Being met by amazing peacocks to begin with (and Easter bunnies) the rest of the place didn’t disappoint. It’s spread over a large area and is very picturesque. The main house is closed and it does seem to be in a state of renewal and the cafe has just been taken over by new management
(3rd of April 2022).
Some of the areas are magical and our three year old and Mum and Dad all said we will be coming back for sure

Lovely to be back here after five/six years and we still had a brilliant day, the walks are as always beautiful when the bluebells and wild garlic are out. It is clear the place has had a tough time over the past few years and isn’t up to its former glory yet, but they do look to be making an effort to renovate and the entrance price was cheaper than before presumably to reflect this. The bird of prey displays were great and My 8 year old son had a fantastic time on the board walk, playground and boat ride, on that basis alone we will be back.

What a beautiful day out. Lovely areas of beauty and animals roaming freely around. Couple of nice places for children to play, teepees and falconry display, which was magical. The giant swing nor the canal boat was available, a little disappointing but did not ruin our day. Fantastic peacocks strutting around, the children loved that but don't get too close. Just a peaceful place to take the family and burn some energy if you so desire. Plenty of woodland to walk around and water pools to look at and admire the carps.

Such a Beautiful place to visit! The gardens are beautiful, the peacocks are gorgeous to look out! The bird of prey show was absolutely amazing! I also got to meet a Zebra mixed Donkey🥺 The cafe was lovely and the food was amazing, best jacket potato I’ve had!❤️ Will definitely be returning!🥰

Really nice family day out, need to be fit to appreciate all of it, as the enchanted gardens bit is very steep on unmade paths. It's possible to do the majority with a buggy or even a wheelchair if the pusher is very fit. The majority is on the level though, so access is good. Birds of prey demo very good, and lots of wooden forts and play areas for the kids.

My second visit here for some Halloween fun! Lots of fun activities for children to take part in & atmospheric decorations for adults to enjoy. The woodland walk at this time of year with the autumn colours was also lovely today. The Birds of Prey talks are also interesting, fun & informative. Definitely worth a trip.

Lovely place to visit. The Halloween day was really fun for the kids. My only gripe was that the refreshment kiosks and cafe seemed under staffed and queues built up. It was a busy day but staff seemed quite unhurried and it was a bit frustrating. Overall though a really positive experience and we would visit again

Went for the Halloween Event and weren't disappointed. The activities and shows were great. The birds of prey were fantastic, well choreographed and the boys loved it (6, 5 and 4).
