Smyths Toys Superstores

Awful in-store customer service (Enfield Retail Park). I was essentially stopped and searched at the door by some idiot who must have thought I forged my receipt because he wouldn’t accept it and called for backup. In addition, the Store Manager attempted to refuse a reasonable exchange, enforce their own refund only rule and insisted on opening my product to prevent me from requesting a future exchange. Company return policies exist for a reason. As an adult doll collector, who spends significant sums buying to customise, review, compare etc., I was horrified to discover that stores apparently bin and crush display boxes (containing product) instead of agreeing to customer requests to recycle. Why not gift or even sell (charging the value of the items encased in the display) such things instead of flaunting your disgraceful waste?

Great staff, very helpful and kind! Shout out to Richard who made my day today helped me choose a buggy and even build it for me so I could easily wheel out the shop with my little ones inside!

On September 12th around 4.30pm I went to this shop (Enfield) with my daughter for her seventh birthday to buy a bicycle, skates and other gifts for her, the guy in charge of this bike department (I don't know his name) however easy to identify: young, blond, thin, very rude and listless (if he does not want to work it would be better if he stayed home or changed jobs) I bought both products here because it was late and I didn't have time to go to another shop but know that it will be the last time we buy at Smith Toys in Enfield. It ruined our day, and because of the desire to get out of your shop as soon as possible, we didn't buy anything else.

I find the staff in Smyths know everything about their trade. They could literally sell ice to the eskimos! I popped in looking to find a present for my nephew for his 8th birthday, not having kids of my own I had no idea where to even begin looking for a gift idea, but after a brief chat with a member of staff, I was pointed in the right direction of some perfect present options. Needless to say my nephew was very happy with my purchase. Hats off to Smyths for helping me in my hour of need.

This store was really clean inside and well stock as well . Checkout speed was amazing I do recommend this store 👌 🙌 👏 Thank you for your help today

I bought a car seat for baby.the woman at this position was very kind.The price was 189p, my husband gave 200p(10x20)because he didn't understand the price.he took back only one pound. I said the man at checkout to check it but he went to an other staff and he stayed there long time. My baby was upset and I left.We lost 10.

Was wonderful customer service by Aisha.Provided me with a switch but offered me a bundle deal which save me money also advised me on the correct games for my child’s age and what is most popular and my son loved it!!! Also a great store overall very clean !

It's decent, I don't mind going to that toy store but I think it would've been so much better if it replaced the now permanently closed Toys r Us and not M&S. Overall, I think its alright

I came in the other day to shop for my niece’s birthday. I’ve never come into Smyths Toys before and it was just as amazing as I thought! Brilliantly well run, shop was full and tidy. Only
problem was it was hard to find staff around the shop. I did manage to stop and ask one of the staff members by the name of Chloe for some help and she was fantastic! Understood the knowledge of many products we came across & great customer service. She then walked me to the til and called for someone to serve me right away. Thank you for your service and I will definitely be back for my Christmas shopping.
