My car is well looked after by the technical experts. Health checks are done at a reasonable price. I think these are good to have. Especially just before the onset of winter.
The staff are caring and more recently stepped up when I urgently needed help.
I have friends and family who own Toyota cars..we are lucky to have this local family business looking after us and keeping our cars on the road.

Just came home with my first car from Ron brooks and just want to give my praise for the excellent service.

My salesman, Glen Shaw, was very professional and made me feel at ease. Talked through everything with me in detail and made the whole process seamless! Can’t thank him enough.

Even got an extra ISSHO teddy for my sister, very happy customer!

Booked to see a car to purchase and had arranged for a rental car costing me £120 to come and view it. I get a phonecall the evening before my viewing at 17:59 (one minute before they close) saying they have reserved it for another customer. Unfortunately I miss the call and had no option to call back since they just closed. The possibility of reservation was never discussed with me or even mentioned. I am now down £120 and a day off work wasted.

Utter contempt for their potential customers doesn't even begin to describe them. I am absolutely livid. Avoid and give your business to a branch that actually cares.

Edit in response to reply: Your facts are incorrect and disingenuous; the option of reservation was never mentioned nor discussed. I would have done so had I been breifed and advised that I could do so since I knew I was committing time and money for the viewing.

Buying the car was a very pleasant experience. Glen is very patient and helpful and explained everything professionally. I really appreciate the car being delivered in perfect condition and for showing me all the features in detail. I even got the Toyota Mascot toy! Very happy, thank you Glen!

My sister visited ron brooks toyota ilkeston for test drive a 09 toyota aygo on 24th september 2022, she paid GBP500 deposit to buy it. The sales consultant did not provide her with the T&C and order forms after payment is made. At that time she didn't notice the deposit is refundable or not.

Two days later, my sister decided to buy another toyota approved car in wigan, therefore she requested a refund of deposit from ron brooks ilkeston. The sales consultant told my sister that the deposit was non-refundable. While i asked two toyota dealers (one in wigan and one in nottingham), both said that in this case the deposit shall be refunded. Therefore, i helped my sister to email and use their online chating to request a refund from 28 september 2022 onwards. More than a week the dealer/sales consultant did not give any responds to us.

This is a really bad shopping experience and already give much pressures to my sister as a consumer.

Therefore, i write this comment and wish the company can alert and provide some positive feedback.

Update: thank you for responds and my sister just received the refund on 12 Oct 2022. I have changed my rating from 1* to 3* for this sensible and reasonable responds. thanks again!

Recently purchased a new car from here Darren was absolutely amazing! The whole process from choosing the car to collecting it was brilliant I felt i was supported through the whole process! I am very impressed by the service I received from Darren & all the staff when I have visited the show room, they will have continued custom from me due to this. Thank you again!

I have just bought a 2014 Toyota Landcruiser V8 from Ron Brooks Toyota in Ilkeston. The salesman I deal with, Darren Richards, I have to say was fantastic all the way through the process. It turns out that Ron Brooks is an independent dealership and not part of a chain, that was clear - the service was outstanding. I am really happy with the process and I can't recommend Darren and the dealership enough. Extremely satisfied!
