Good that there is a ticket office here. Shame there's not more shelter for the weather.

It's a small interchange for the railway station. Ticket shop, toilets and next door is the tourist information center as well as a gallery. Wheelchair #accessible.

It WAS a lovely welcome pub, offering local beers, now it's a joke of badly painted architect:( no sofas, just a room of metal chairs!!! Ref

Visit by train and enjoy a day out.

Simple station with one train each hour heading only out of town. Old Victorian station building is now a useful visitor centre and tourist information office.

It must have been an amazing place in steam days, or even in the early days of diesel. You can still see the remains of a water column. Many an engine will have found refreshment here while little boys watched on with notepad and pen in hand. A shadow of its former glory, even the booking office is closed.

Small but very convenient train station. Was a nice change to use the train service which I caught from Blackburn to Clitheroe for a day out.
