The trains run. Not a terrible station but did travel on the day a bunch of Clarets fans were off to Preston for a match. They were smoking 'not just cigarettes' and urinating off the platform.

Easy to access as it is located just off the main road but to switch platforms, you must walk all the way round.

This was a great station to catch a train to Blackpool North from, with clear signs for navigation and an appropriately sized platform for the train that was on time! After following the signs, the walkway makes platform 1 accessible, where the station sign is clear and the departure board displays proper times. There is also billboards providing info about railcards and a comfortable waiting room, situated on the clean platform but one negative is the second platform not being lined up with it.

Very poor station considering it's the main station for Burnley. Rubbish everywhere and rats running around when I visited today.
