Very new and modern station, clean and easy to get around. I felt the stairs where a bit small but easy to use. Clear that they want to use ticket barriers sometime in the future but all in all its an easy get in and out station for the time being. Felt a bit quiet but they are still building the homes.

Meridian Water Station is open! It officially opened today, great looking station with step free access.

REVIEW FOR GOOGLE MAPS Angel Road has closed and is no longer open, it has been replaced with Meridian Water station!

This station is incredibly desolate. If you want to go to what feels like an abandoned station, this is the place for you. Though do it quickly, as this station will be replaced in 2019. UPDATE: Angel Road station has now closed, and has been replaced by Meridian Water.

Depressing, don't come here. There's a weird smell. Unless you need to go to IKEA I guess.

“Going home for the evening and leaving none of the Contactless readers working so people have to contact TfL to get refunded” seems to be this stations motto.

Terrible service. Couldn't tap out as there was no staff on ground to help and I need to call TfL so that I'm not charged extra

Redoing this review now Meridan Water is open, this station is clearly superior to the now defunct Angel Road Station. Platforms have adequate shelter, seating, step free access thanks to lifts, some actual ticketing facilities and it's served by a few local buses to.
It's also in a good location, slightly closer to the large IKEA, to the point of it being a short walk away. The current frequency of trains stopping here is bad, but not as bad as it was back in the day at Angel Road.
