An attractive traditional railway station on the scenic Mole Valley Line. Steam trains pass through occasionally.

Absolutely superb station - beautiful, though not the most unique that the British Rail system has to offer. Used by approximately 32,000 people a year this really shows, with the whole station feeling almost abandoned. I have no problem with the grime in the underpass, as this only made my experience here all the more exciting. With cargo trains frequently passing through and an awesome location to top it all off, this is a must-visit station.

Its only advantage is a delectable countryside location. On the other hand, there is sod-all here for a long way in all directions. The village is far away down a road which is dangerous to walk, the parking is poor and there never has been a pub or shop here. If this were anywhere else but Surrey, Beeching would have got rid of it.

It's a very nice quiet simple station near the village of capel although it is closer to that village then to ockley itself funnily enough, I loved the vibes if this station and has everything an unstaffed station needs. Ranging from the ticket machine (although this didn't work when I was there, the touch screen didn't work at all), a few help points, waiting areas, CCTV, it was a lovely located station with not much around it and an hourly service. I definitely recommend a small visit here as it also looked like the station building was someone's house which was just insane to me and a nice little underpass! Which can sometimes be flooded apparently.
