I absolutely love Worthing to the point I am contemplating moving there in the near future. The locals are friendly, they have a significant town with a large variety of shops to pick from. They also have plenty of bars and pubs to choose from. The pier is substantial and has a games/entertainment room as well as a restaurant and binoculars. The only downfall is that the beach is pebbly but you can expect that from most of the south coast. There is a Travelodge or Premier Inn hotel locates about 5 or 10 minutes walk from the pier and right opposite the beach. There are other good B&B's here. In the Summer there is a ride on mini train that goes along the seafront. There is also the Lido with rides for smaller children as well as a children's play area further up the sea front. My heart belongs here.

Quiet for a Saturday?
Why is there a ticket gate on the town side of the station yet every one seemed to leave through the unexpected north side?

One of the few station on the West Coastway line where a train can be overtaken. In one direction, of course. Step free access is provided here via lifts down into the subway. Seating and basic facilities such as toilets and cafes are available too.

Trains are semi-frequent connecting Brighton, Bognor and Portsmouth/Southampton. Assuming they haven't been delayed, altered or cancelled. So good luck with that.

Great station, occasionally has custom voice lines when you arrive on the train which is funny, no ticket barriers on one side >:)
Occasionaly crackheads try and jump the barriers which is free entertainment

Lovely town. Lots to do, good people and a beautiful sea front. Many micro pubs, restaurants and cafes. A very good day out and a great place to live.

Worthing station is ok to me but it’s definitely worth visiting here because you can walk directly to the Town Centre which is very close.

It’s only 20-30 mins from Brighton and 1 hour from London by train.

Gave it a 5 stars and a solid 9 out of 10. 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂

In desperate need due to a medical condition. Rail Enforcement officers couldn't have been more helpful or discreet, much appreciated.
