Liverpool is one of the gigantic station in london. There are central lines, underground, overground rails all connected. The station is spic and span, the staff is really helpful in terms of guiding the passengers. There are many food outlets to binge on, there is a sitting area, the station is very organized.

Its the last station for some lines of tubes. This is a common station for both underground and overground trains. The station is very big with various other businesses inside such as food, drinks etc. There are self ticketing systems and enquiries everywhere to serve people. The station is maintained very clean and the staff are helpful to guide if you are new to London.

I am always captivated by the cool atmosphere of this large station. I like that there is a large crowd of people there. In addition, a nice point for visiting the nearby interesting tourist places.

Spacious, airy terminus that came out of a nineties rebuild of the previous lash up of two badly joined stations. Much of the old architecture was retained, just remodelled.

Updates for Elizabeth line -
Liverpool street to Shenfield line is served by platforms 15-17 at the extreme east end, while the Liverpool street to Paddington line is served underground at the extreme west end. Switching between the two ends, it takes more than 10 min walk across multiple escalators and heavy crowd. So I would suggest it is better to wait till Autumn 2002 when the phase 2 will integrate the central tunnels.
I would advise that they rather they switch at earlier stations than Liverpool street, for e.g. those coming from Shenfield on route towards Paddington, will be better served by switching to Jubilee line at Stratford which is just the adjacent platform on Elizabeth line (to switch to Bakerloo at Bond Street) or Central line at Stratford (to switch to Bakerloo at Oxford Circus)

07.08.2022 Very busy on Sunday afternoon at 4.30pm. Not much open due to shopping laws. McDonald's upstairs is like a zoo. Very clean and lots of seating.

The new Elizabeth line is lovely, smooth and quiet and cool. Decadent per se.

The central line is a dump, especially during the summer - avoid.

The people who rate Liverpool street a 5 are deluded.

As train stations go, it's pretty good...! The station has connections from overground to underground and no need to leave the building to get from one part to the other. There are some shops and places to eat or get food which is also handy. The station has a fair bit of history to it, and perhaps they could make more of this.
