A constant disappointment every time we call we have been waiting for over five weeks for jumpers for my son on the website you can’t see it listed in that size you have to phone up and every time we do we are promised by the sale staff that it has been ordered and that will be out this has happened on a number of occasions now and still we do not have the jumper.
Can’t believe this business has won the contract for school uniforms I suggest that going forwards it gives up regards Paul and Emily
PS if I could’ve given zero stars than I would have
Two years ago (pre-covid), I placed an order for click and collect. It gave me an allotted time and I duly turned up at my allotted time. Chaos reigned at the store, the queue to get into the shop went around the block (no exaggeration), there was no system to click and collect and no one was manning the C&C queue. I waited 30 minutes past my slot with no one even acknowledging me. Eventually, hearing several staff joking around in the alleyway behind the shop, I poked my head into the alleyway and asked if anyone was actually servicing their click and collect. At this point I eventually got served. But getting back to the car, we found some of our order was missing, I trudged back, only to be told to get in the queue that went around the block. I obviously declined that invitation. Service is no better this year. I ordered late in the day on 23rd August but they had no stock before end July anyway due to the supply issues everyone is facing. No click and collect option available this year. An email informs me that they decided to drop it to 'service their booked appointments safely'. To send my order will be up to 14 working days. it is day 10 and I have had no further notice of delivery date. I can however book an appointment for 1:30pm this Friday. How does this make sense if they are short-staffed that rather than getting someone to send out internet orders in a timely fashion, they would rather I book in, thus wasting my time and theirs? I really feel that the time has come that RGS opens up the competition to other school shops. As a busy working mum, I just don't have the time to work around the idiosyncrasies of this school shop. Thomas Moore in Devon sent me two jumpers by the 25th August having ordered on 23rd August - if it is in stock then snail mail 14 days just isn't acceptable in this day and age.
