My favorite library
Open 24/7 (Time may varies in bank holidays)

There are a lot of study spaces and PCs
rest room, vending machines, group study room (need to be booked in advance)

Also there are prayer room (Multi-faith)

Basically all what you need to get you going and study.

Top tier library, can't go wrong although if you breathe too loud people may give you dirty looks

I have so much love for this library. I did my bachelors at Cardiff from 2017-2020 and some of my fondest memories of what it means to be a student (in the most literal sense, in terms of actually studying) come from this library. I have memories of bringing my tea (or lemsip when I had a cold) and sitting in those cabinet things at the back of the ground floor. I remember first exploring dissertation topics on the first floor. I remember reading history books on the second floor as a fresher, and doing the same on the ground floor as a 22 year old, nostalgic for this space before I’d even graduated. I’ve now studied at three different universities in three different countries, but to me, forever, being a student means clasping my lemsip and Lidl cookies, and carefully picking my study spot in the ASSL, only to always pick the same spot, and stare out the windows, feeling really grateful to be there.
