Specsavers Opticians and Audiologists - Swansea

Excellent system from first contact with the Company (I sorted out an appointment online), then the appointment and eye examination and tests themselves, through to choosing new frames, paying, then - within a couple of weeks - picking up (after Specsavers checked everything) my new glasses! First class from beginning to end!
P.S. if I did have a "problem" it was that when choosing new frames, once I took off my own glasses, I couldn't see properly to know whether the frames I'd chosen suited me or not, even though an assistant did check when the frames were on my nose, and said they looked great! Yes, now I have the new glasses they do look great, but it's just that IF I could have been able to see the wider range of frames on my face, I might have chosen something that wasn't identical to my previous frames!

Brought my grandson in for 1st ever test Friday and back on Monday for drops and glasses. Absolutely fantastic with my grandson , 2 members of staff even pretended to give each other the drops to help calm and reasure my grandson who was scared of them. Cannot fault them in any way , this is where my grandchildren will be going if needed in the future . *****

Was happily using them since arriving over in Swansea though after 2001noticed my glasses were constantly coming apart I’d tried replacement ones though they weren’t quite right after going in a different options I’d decided to stick with new company as they found two large infection in both eyes . Was issued far better quality frames from the designer prescription and won’t be BACK ever again as they take the payment easier though have gone completely unexceptable non exisant concapared to more affordable option as I’d had to pay towards the £180

Every time I come here I’m met with great politeness and professionalism. They can be busy but they handle it well, and all the staff are lovely.

So I was having headaches so needed an appointment, this was just before Christmas. Staff triaged me and gave me an appointment in the new year.

Came for my lens check. The young woman that seen me was fantastic.

She really new her stuff and was able to really explain the issue I was having.

She was welcoming, polite and friendly. After the appointment I was not Guedes out like cattle. We spoke for a short time about our mutual interest in Lee Child books.

Back again later the same morning for my sight test and the guy who seen to me was just as knowledgeable, welcoming, polite and professional.

Again, carried out several tests and explained what each process was in a way I was able to understand. This member of staff also took the time to chat.

These staff are a credit to Specsavers and it’s staff like this that really make the customer feel welcome and they put your mind at ease when you may be worried.

The fact they are really knowledgeable is reassuring as you know your in safe hands.

Very friendly staff, always smiling and making sure your visit is pleasant, my daughter is 2 and needed her glasses fixed and the lovely kind gentleman and lady made her smile and laugh and her fears went away, would definitely recommend this opticians to anyone young and old. Well done guys x

Not long arrived back from Specsavers, Swansea for my Diabetic Retinopathy test. All staff lovely, welcoming, helpful. But have to say the lady, Mel Williams, who checked all my details, pictures etc on screen and checked my eyes also (sorry, got her name but not her position) Optician/Optometrist? Anyway, she was lovely. She s expecting a baby due in February. Was so helpful and sweet with me. Felt I could ask anything of her. She even apologised for the drops stinging my eyes! I know Im due to call again in 6 months for my review and know she wont be there as will be off probably on Maternity Leave but I sincerely hope I do see her again as she was so sweet and lovely about the whole experience reassuring me my eyes were fine and no need to worry. Which believe me I had been but she put those fears to rest v effectively. Thank you Mel. You re a gem!
