Martin has been helping me and my husband for years with all of our bicycling needs. He built a lovely custom bike for me which I liked so much I had him make a second one for me to have in the US. He goes the extra mile. Always pleasant, prompt, and utterly trustworthy.

On our way to dispose my favourite bicycle, written-off by my regular bike shop in Cambridge as something better thrown away than even attempting to fix, we offered the bicycle for recycling to this bike shop; however he suggested he can restore it for a reasonable price. I'm so happy my gf insisted, as now the bicycle was given another life, and my day got a little better because of the bike's sentimental value. Great guy, very polite, knowledgeable, and also very quick service and the result looks astonishing. Highly recommended!

I hired a bike from the Moller Institute during a weekend trip in Cambridge and sadly the tires were under-inflated...

...I kindly asked Cambridge Cyclesmith at the end of their day if they'd inflate the tires - which they kindly did for free! 10/10 recommend! Thank you so much!

Brilliant cycle shop, every time I've gone have had brilliant service, reasonable prices and a quick fix to my bike. They're very friendly and I couldn't recommend more. Don't bother with any other bike places in Cambridge because they're the best.

Just a PSA to avoid the bike shop at market square all costs!!! the guy sold me a malfunctioning tube and when I went back he refused to accept responsibility saying that someone else had the same problem (which is very telling about his items). there are plenty of bike shops, like the one on magdalene street which offer much better rates and don't sell malfunctioning products!

Martin has served my very well over many years. He has custom made a couple of bikes for me and my partner and is highly knowledgeable. We wouldn't go anywhere else!

The guy is very very kind and gave a surprisingly good maintenance to my bike, which has been idle for 2 years. Strongly recommended!
