Car type: Mitsubishi ASX 2010

This is a long review from my personal experience. I'm not trashing them because i'm sure in different circumstances they'd be different BUT i didn't really have a great experience with them.

Update: Car requires a while new exhaust due to rot & failed the MOT. To clarify they said it would be fine and you could spot weld over the holes. After trying to contact them a few times after purchasing I've had no luck. Be very cautious when buying here!

TLDR: If you're going to buy here, make sure you check it over & don't take their word for things like cosmetic damage and rust. Could improve on customer service since after speaking to them about the complaints i had it felt like i'd be f'd over. BUT they did offer to take the car back which i credit them to. Unfortunately I had already invested too much into getting the car sorted to let it go for the issues it has. See below for more info.

I'd say some of the reviews I've read about this place are true but too extreme. They're more than happy to help (well, give you some of the information) while making the sale but once the sale has gone through, don't expect any assistance.

(All i requested was help sourcing the part & if they'd be willing to contribute the money they'd spend taking the car back to be told to stiff myself)

Tbh, they're not willing to go the extra mile for customer satisfaction (From my experience)

I'm sure in person they are fine, from my experience from doing things remotely during the lockdown i'd advise to wait till you can go there physically.

Just make sure you check over the car yourself or have the AA inspect it.
There was damage to my car that I wasn't told about (My fault since I got it delivered since i couldn't travel over there. I guess it's just what happens when you try to buy a car during lockdown)

Wouldn't take their word for damage on vehicles since was told it was only minor on the bumper but clearly more. Rotten exhaust which also wasn't told about. Since I took the car they're not willing to help.

To give them credit, they did offer to collect the car but at that point I already spent £500+ on delivery, road tax, insurance etc & selling my other car. There are things here I may have been able to do better but the fact for me is that they missed out details I asked about to make it look better than what it is (cosmetically).

Mechanically, the car seems to be ok, I will update in a week after the service. Service light was on when delivered which was not informed about.

Granted, the car is 10 years old, sure its going to have some damage to it. My main complaint was the fact I asked for the details of damage & rust which they said was minimal damage and no rust. So you're going to be p***ed off when the car arrives in worse condition than what they told you & supplied pictures of. They try to justify saying it's because of the age of the car but I expect when I ask for specific photos they'd not miss any out to make it look better than what it is. THAT is the mistake of your staff and you should take responsibility for that and not blame it on the customer.

I'll give credit to the guy "H" who was helpful when buying the car. Another employee, "T" not so much. Very rude, doesn't listen.

More care should be taken when inspecting the vehicles & accurate information should be given when requested.

This dealer is a typical Lithuanian scammer. I have purchased a vehicle in October 2021 and after couple of months I've noticed that the car is floaded with water.
I had it checked by independent Company and I have been told that the vehicle was sold to me with this pre-existing water leak.
I have contacted him and asked him to refund the money wherei have been told that I do not know the Law and that he ca not help me.
Avoid this dealer as this is the biggest scammer.

The owner was very polite and helpful, on the side its good place to test your car without need to drive on busy roads. The car was in perfect condition insideand and out. Everingham was like on description plus got 7 month warranty, after purchase we drove to France,Italy,Switzerland and back home without any issues. Definitely can recommend the R D Motors.

Right, this is not a fancy stand with poshy looks and fashionable views. This is a place that sells acessible and utilitary cars to those who need them. My personal experience was slightly worrying at start as the car i purchased did have a problem. But these are used cars. Problems could occur. What is to praise is the attitude and action of the stand owner as promptly sorted the problem with the assistance of 2 mechanics that persistently solved the issue. This is my opinion after having purchased the car today and having done a long journey back home already. Very positive outcome in the end. Thank you

SCAMMERS, DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. Bought a vehicle including a warranty, instant issues with brakes. Warranty wouldn't cover as was issue prior to sale, RD very hard to get hold of. Refused to collect vehicle for repair, had to take time off work to drop to them and likewise someone to drop me home over 40 mins away and again to collect. Once repaired same issue occurred and car was smoking. Now refusing to pay for local repair or collection, telling me its an older car so is normal, yet car is DANGEROUS to drive! V rude on phone, all about the sales. STEER CLEAR.

I have been fortunate to have recently collected a car from RD Motors, after seeing a car advert on Auto Trader. From looking on their website, the vehicles they sell are competitively priced. I knew what I would get from this dealer was an excellent vehicle. I was surprised about the fantastic customer service I received from Tom. Tom continually went above and beyond for me, provided first - class communication throughout the process and succeeded in finding the best deal for my finance. In my 15-years of driving, I have bought many vehicles from many dealers; I can honestly say that I will solely use RD Motors for all my cars going forward, solely for the service I had from Tom.

We just bought an Audi A5 from this garage, and it’s great. They even assisted in running it through an MOT for peace of mind, it passed straight away.
It’s been over a month. Been driven up and down, regularly to Manchester with no issues.

They sales guys are not pushy. They have their own test track driving area. It all makes the experience really stress free. Great garage, great guys 😊

Shocking. Battery dead on first view and radio reset. Told me they would change battery. Return for purchase day later. Didn't change the battery, tell me it's fine now though. What am I to do? Two weeks later. Battery dies after vehicle parked for just two days. Jump it, drive it for a day, park for 5 hours and dead again - battery fried.

Raise it with them - no care - not covered by warranty as "serviceable" item. What kind of dealership sells cars with dead batteries. Pretty fkn basic. Wouldn't trust them and would avoid. Safer buying private.
