Very happy with how we've been treated whilst looking and purchasing our new car. Well looked after by all staff. No pushy sales people, just down to earth and helpful. Great knowledge of the cars and understood what we were after.
Ask for Jason, top bloke! Nice coffee too.

I bought my Volvo from here, the service I received when I purchased the car was amazing. I was advised that I had a free first service in future, fast forward to the service. I booked my service in, went in this morning, first off I was advised I should have received a call the day previous to advise me of documentation to bring, I didn't receive a phone call. The lady I spoke to (who was lovely) didn't know the answer to a technical question I had asked, so she asked her colleague to come out and help, he refused by yelling 'No' three times, in the end she had to go ask him (real professional!). I also had arranged a courtesy car, when I got the keys and got into it, it was filthy and with literally no fuel. I went back in and was told they were under staffed and couldn't send someone out to fill it up, at this point I took my keys back and decided to pay for a service elsewhere. I was advised later that my car was still under warranty for an issue of the central locking, and as opposed to paying for it to be fixed feel free to take it to another dealer. I arranged a service including the central locking to be fixed at another branch, only to be told by the other branch that I don't have a service plan and I'd have to pay. I've actually booked my car into a local garage instead, and I'm happier to pay for a service rather than come back. This was beyond a joke, I love my car but this has put me off buying another one from you.

Highly recommend Doves Volvo, smooth process from start to finish. No pushy sales talk, no pressure to purchase additional products, although made fully aware of what was available. Jason - salesman dealt promptly and professionally with everything throughout, backed up by the business team, nothing was too much trouble. Just how purchasing a car should be, thanks.

Rubbish. My car is in a worse state then when I took it in. A few months ago I took my car in for a diagnostic check on my roof, which had not been opening correctly, They said there was no problem. I was charged. I had the same problem again, I was asked to bring it down on the Friday as the roof was stuck open and they would be able to see me that day. I got there and they could not see me or look at the car until the following mid-week. After having my car for a while they called me to say there were two issues, and my car was ready to be collected as the parts could not be obtained until the end of Oct. The guy on the phone said he would disconnect the windows as a one of the parts were the window sensor, however they were working fine when I turned up. I asked them not to disconnect in the mean time as I can still open three of the four windows as I had been told it was a rear window. After being told my car was ready to be collected I arrived 2 hours later to find a screw and a cover for the window switches on my seat and the fuse board dangling down and the seal not fitting correctly, In front of the guy I took photos and expressed my concerns, he replied it was left like this as they did not know what was happening, yet I had received a call to say the car was ready . This was certainly not ready to be collected. Now as it was raining when i drove home I had no reason to check the windows. I tried to open my windows yesterday and they are all not opening. I have now gone out to my car and the window has fallen down on its own, the front driver window. I have rang yesterday and had no reply, I have rang today and I was told nothing had been disconnected. If this is the case, why is my car windows not working when they were when I bought it into Doves. I have asked for them to correct the windows today only to be told they did not do anything.

As a family we have used this Volvo Garage for years and so far this year there has been breach of data protection, I have received letters from them and calls not relating to any of my cars, or my car and not my name. and no call back, or too many appointments being booked in, as the call centre don't talk to the office direct.

I am highly disappointed with a Volvo Preston, and for years I had no problems. Is this since Doves took over?

I am still waiting for them to call me back!

Changed my review, from originally 1 star, there was a big mix-up over the V5 and taxation, but in the end the manager personally resolved this and gave a full explanation as to why it had happened. The dealership were very helpful in getting our finance arranged, and although the handover was much shorter than it should have been for our new XC90 (cue many Google searches) overall we are happy and the aftercare so far has been good.

Absolutely useless staff I left my contact mobile and email address to get prices on the new cx40
The girl who served us was extremely pleasant but it stops there ! She informed us she had no training in prices / finance etc and was more worried about how wobbly her desk was
She showed us the car ?? By standing by the window and using the fob to unlock the doors and let us go and look at it ourselves ??? I know it was cold but get your coat on and do your job properly!!!
She told me someone would give me a call back 2 days later I’m still waiting !
We left the garage quickly after that . Volvo you need to pop to the Audi dealers and have a day training with them TOP CLASS SERVICE AUDI
Volvo I’ve read all the reviews online re your garage and it doesn’t surprise me how appalling they are !
Please don’t bother contacting me with prices, in my books you only have one chance to impress .

Bought a 2017 XC60 D5 a couple of weeks ago.
No pressure selling and everything was explained perfectly. I’m a director of a company and been in sales for over 20 years. It’s very refreshing to see how It’s done properly, exactly how I would treat people. I have just recently taken my car back, to get some minor bodywork done on the vehicle. Greeted by the manager and looked after very quickly. Jason is especially helpful. Not all car dealers are the same!

Booked my car in for warranty work, service and MOT. When i arrived i got the sales pitch to sell me a service pack. Said i would think about it. Went through the work schedule and no warranty work listed. Then told they can't do warranty work because they are losing the Volvo franchise at end of January. Refused to have the service done. Received 2 further phone calls from them claiming to be Volvo Preston and tried to book my car in for service. They would not be Volvo dealers and this could invalidate my Selekt Volvo warranty. Mis-representing the garage and their Volvo dealership. Not acceptable!!!
