Medivet 24 Hour Birstall

Used to be a great vet years ago but now under medivet.
unfortunately it seems that medivet are more interested in money and encourage owners to pay for unnecessary tests .
if you attend make sure you ask how those tests will improve uour animals outcome .

They took a wild pigeon in with a broken wing, at no profit. All the staff were lovely there and the vet called me to update me. I can't thank them enough but very sad the bird had to be put down.

I found a poorly wild dove in my garden and as it was quite late in the evening, I was struggling to find a wildlife sanctuary that I could take it to. I called Medivet in Birstall and they agreed to take it. I dropped the bird off with them no problem. I am not sure if the little one will make it, but it was a relief to be able to ensure that the bird would be seen by professionals who care and not suffer undue pain. Thanks for your compassion Medivet Birstall.

Really helpful veterinarian service, needed an emergency appointment and was able to make one within an hour. Lovely staff that are happy to take their time & explain things.

Helped my puppy recover from an illness quickly so I'm very grateful. 10/10 service.

lost my dog due to the company doing nothing to help whilst my dog had a chronic illness, consultation was a joke didnt even give my baby a proper check up,no scans no blood tests, it was just all assumed, they was willing to do a unecessary opperation that wouldve done more harm then good, and was all about making money! Absolute pathetic Avoid at all cost instead go to the PDSA they are all about the Animals and the owners.

Friendly. Really seemed to care about the well-being of my pet. Do not seem out to take all of your money like other vets. Out of hours fee is rather high but overall a positive experience.

Absolutely second to none . So caring and compassionate .You are able to ask any question you want .They really take care of your pet and its so good to be allowed in the consulting room .Went to this vet when my own was closed and i feel the practice is more for me .
