Profit over animal welfare!
I contacted Crescent Vets earlier this week as my own vet has been unable to obtain cat booster vaccinations for some months due to supply issues, I was desperate to get our cat vaccinated as 3 months overdue, I was very open explaining the situation to the lady who answered the telephone, who initially told me they could vaccinate my cat, I was obviously relieved to hear this, however she then placed me on hold, and then came back and asked my if I was intending to transfer the care of my cat to Crescent, I explained again my circumstances, this prompted her to say that a vaccination would only be possible if my cat was transferred to Crescent for veterinary care going forward! I was not willing to be blackmailed, made my thoughts clear that animal welfare was obviously not their priority, needless to say I would never use them, even if they were the last vet in Melton Mowbray, if you want your animals welfare to be put first, then choose a different Vet! I would not even give them one star, but cannot post this review without a star rating!!!

Very good service makes feel welcome and comfortable. Took my cat here and told me everything happening with my cat staff are very friendly.

Have used this Vet’s Clinic for many years. Always helpful and caring for our dog or cats. Parking easy on road side. Well managed during Covid and reasonably priced. Links to prescription medicine providers by sending directly to allow you to buy as you choose.

They helped me (My dog) out for an injury even though I was not registered with them and even though it was on a Saturday as my registered vet did not open for whatever reason. They were very kind and sympathetic. No charge for the service as this was my first visit. Thank you so much.

The only reason I don't give 5 stars is that there are always locum vets here, they do a very good job, but my dog, who is a complete baby when it comes to going to the vets, (from a bad experience when he was very young) needs to build trust with someone, but there are always different vets here every time booster time come along. He's a big dog and is very suspicious of someone he's not met before. He normally ends up with a muzzle on as the vets get nervous around him, exasperating the situation even more and making him even more nervous. It must be the same for a lot of other dog/pet owners. I'm also a dog trainer, and the bond between anyone (vet or owner) is vital, and would make the experience so much less stressfull for the dog, owner, and the vet.

The staff are very kind, helpful and skilled. Excellent!

Very friendly practice...they made a fuss of my puppy! The vet was friendly and efficient too. The only drawback here is no service at weekends.

Hannah made Ralph instantly feel at ease as he can be nervous, she also explained fully the healthy pet club to us so we signed up.
Shauna was equally as brilliant. Not only did she do the expected checks she also gave me plenty of behavioural tips.
Ralph loves his new vets!
