Myerscough Veterinary Group

My Vets is a mighty - hopefully benign - conglomerate that has swept over the North West and is now moving into Yorkshire. They operate a modern animal hospital near Blackburn which is open 24 hours for emergencies. Appointments are easy to get (there are 5 branches easily accessible for me) and they use a computerized central appointment system. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I took my kitten in for a neutering preop. Very friendly staff. The vet was very helpful and offered for me to call at a later date if I had any more questions or concerns.

Oswaldtwistle, friendly and welcoming. My two boys, Barkley and Henry love going Myerscough Vets, as treats are always on offer after they've seen the vet!

Lousie, very rude on the phone. No help and spoke to me like I was stupid. Didn’t help me at all, and said a week wait then 2 weeks wait? Really rude woman and not a friendly service. The vet here is amazing, really nice woman when I have been too see her. But that receptionist is not pleasant and I think needs customer management learning. Didn’t even offer me advice or support, told me to ring another vet. Baring in mind I have been to this vet for a year, ever since my puppy was born. Thanks so much Louise for your amazing help, or not. No need to speak to me like that either.

4 years later and im editing my review from 5* to 1*. All they are interested in is rinsing you for as much as they can. Its embarassing watching the vet trying to think of what else they can prescribe. Multiple vets mean lots of different opinions, often completely at odds with each other. They cant agree on the colour of sh1t. Go somewhere more professional where they actuall care about animals not just money.

Absolutely APPALLING customer service. Sue on front desk isn’t fit to work with The public, her attitude towards people is absolutely atrocious.

Took my two kittens for second vaccs and microchipping. Service impeccable, staff lovely and treated my kittens like their own. Joined the pet club which is about £15 per kitten per month, this then includes all vaccs, microchips etc very good to spread the cost across the year. The vets is based on the main road with plenty of free parking around the side streets. Didn't even get to sit down before they called us through, very efficient and friendly service. I would definitely recommend this practice. Every time I've been or called the staff have been amazing ☺️
