Amber has been great with both my cat and dog this year. She is a great addition to the team and clearly cares about the animals. On all visits, she takes the time to learn our pets history and listen to our concerns to find a treatment plan that has suited them. Communication during and in-between appointments is spot on as well. Thank you!

My worst experience of a visit to the vet in over 40 years.

Edited to add, after V4P replied: I wrote you a letter at the time, explaining the various issues during the visit & detailing my dissatisfaction... While we did receive a reply addressing some of the points, the main issue (apparent incompetence from a junior vet while ending the life of a beloved family member) was ignored.

We felt traumatised (as did the cat) at the time and still feel angry & disappointed, both by our experience on the day & by the unwillingness of the practice/vet to take ownership of their mistakes, to explain them, or to apologise to us.

Anything you might have to say now would be too little too late I'm afraid. Further communication would be a waste of my time.

I was coming to get my dogs stitches removed after her surgery. We were invited in on Monday to get them removed and our vet was completely unaware of what we came to the vet for. The receptionists didn’t tell our vet what we came for which isn’t normal. We didn’t think anything of it until we went into our dogs room. We told the vet that we wanted to remove the stitches from my dogs one eye. He didn’t even take notice and looked at both. Surprisingly, he wasn’t even able to see the stitches. But the bit that shocks me the most is he thought we came in for an operation which we have already done. I was confused because I didn’t understand how a vet could think we are trying to do an operation when my dog has a cone around her head. Once telling him AGAIN that we are trying to get stitches removed he finally realised. Our vet thought he was able to remove them with her conscious. He comes back to us without doing anything then charged us £49. We were then invited back on Wednesday. The place wasn’t clean and very tight. Everything costs so much. All they want is your money and nothing else. The surgery is supposed to cost more but taking of the stitches did. To take the stitches off it cost £180 and the surgery in another country the surgery cost £150. I never give bad reviews but I felt like this just had to be said. These receptionists shouldnt even have their job as they have extremely bad communication. Don’t recommend and I will
Never ever come back. Thank you for reading

Came here for the first time with my cat Ember, for follow up xrays for surgery my old vets did before I moved.

The staff on the phone were lovely when booking me in. The nurse who admitted Ember was super lovely, explained everything, went through all the info I needed and explained the estimate of costings to me fully and properly. Answered any questions and concerns I had and put me at ease.

Now, Ember is not nice at the vets and that is to put it lightly. Ember likes to try and murder anybody who touches her, even though they're trying to help her. The team dealt with her well.

The vet who called me explained everything and told me she woke up well.

The nurse who discharged her, again explained everything really well, went though how she'd be after the sedation and was again, lovely.

I've only been at this vets once, but all the staff seemed great, knowledgeable and friendly.

Ember approved of the sedation and enjoyed lots of cuddles afterwards at home.

Clear and quick communication via email. And phoned me due to a cancellation which was brilliant. The two receptionist were happy and enthusiastic to help and make me and my pet at ease. I didn't have to wait too long for my pet to be seen at all. Vet was also, lovely and informative and gave consideration when I mentioned I'd have issues with the suggested treatment. She gave an alternative and all is great.

The receptionist was very friendly she got both the cat's flea and wormers ready for me as I had been called into work at short notice. Kitty was also very friendly she made me feel at ease and made sure she made a fuss and gave attention to both the cats on examination.

Awful service, booking appointments over the phone for after 2 months visit , don’t ever receive terms and conditions , no reminder for the appointment and then when I call to re organise they kept what I pay over the phone and ask me to pay one more time if I wanna visit them again. Waste of money , terrible customer service.

Always pleased how friendly the vets are & put my dog at ease, as she is a little nervous. Receptionists are normally friendly & welcoming, but on this occasion, one was very grumpy & and unwelcoming. I assumed she must have had a bad day! But won't try to make conversation with her again!
