Lovely friendly staff and vets are super efficient and do an amazing job. All 3 of my dogs come here and they all belong on a pet plan which is affordable and suits their needs.

We have been at Alver Vets for years with our Cats and Dog. I have had both cats spayed by alver and the care has been second to none. More recently I have had our French Bulldog neutered and emergency treatment for our cat within a week of each other. The neutering process was super slick and I was kept informed throughout, Brian was spoilt by all the staff because he wooed them with his puppy dog eyes. The emergency was nothing short of amazing I was able to have Diesel the cat seen and treated within 20minutes of her coming home wounded, the whole team were very reassuring to my worry and accommodating to Diesels needs, particularly whilst she was distressed. I was given options of her treatment with clear guidance on costs...which were very reasonable. Pictures of the happy customers!!

Sadly we had to make the heartbreaking decision to have our little man Spud put to sleep. 😪 He was 17 and very poorly towards the end. Alver vets have been absolutely brilliant throughout. We received a condolence card and some lovely words from them after the event and have sorted out having him cremated and returning his ashes to us.

Took our cat Aurora to be spay. The veterinary nurse did not lock the carrying box. She then escaped in the car park as a result. She is now missing. No help or updates until chased. We have been out looking continuously. The practice manager dealt with the situation poorly, took no accountability or empathy and back tracked on what was said in the situation.

Took my cat in to have her fur cut and was charged over £200 for a mild sedative and shave of fur, all that was done was her belly a little bit on her side and round her backside. Its absolutely disgusting for them to charge the earth where as last year it cost me £58 for the exact same procedure but the only difference last year was they removed twice the amount of fur. They only care about making money and not your pet.

I wish I could give them more stars. Unfortunately we had our pup put to sleep as he was really ill . The vet and receptionist was absolutely amazing. We called them to say we were ready and when we got their , like for all they clients they lite a candle and had a screen up so we went straight to the room . The were very compassionate and consoling to .

Lovely vets, always friendly and caring. However the cost of medication is massive. £50 for a non prescription medication that can be got online for £19 is a huge markup not only that. The treatment for my cats ears to be cleaned (she was sedated too) went up from £115 to £300 in less than two years which I think is excessive.
