First time visit, which was recommended by a friend to my daughter. Nice welcome from Reception and Vet, Sarah, looked after my daughters cat, Fredy, really well. We will return.

Vet Sarah and the staff looked after my cat, Finlay, with great care, compassion and love until his unexpected death at home on 29 June 2020 just before his 19th birthday. I cannot thank them enough; they were/are brilliant and the practice first rate. I award them 10 stars.

This vets — unlike many others in busy town settings — is easy to drive to just outside Romford and near Upminster. Set in quiet pretty countryside On the edge of a farm, there is plenty of easy free parking and a lovely relaxed clean-air atmosphere. I need this calmness when I take my anxious pet for attention! The staff are professional and caring . They seem to be up with the latest knowledge in what your pet needs and I am very happy that my cat Pixie now gets probably better attention than I do! Thank you Ivy Lodge

Brilliant place. Couldn't have been nicer to my little Rumanian rescue mutt when I took her for her boosters. She is the most timid scared little thing ever. They booked her when the surgery was quiet and made a fuss of her in the treatment room. Wonderfull place. Pleasant surroundings, and a large car park. Can't rate highly enough.

I do not recommend Ivy Lodge Vets!
They currently have staffing issues and are running their practise with the Horse Vet and the Head Nurse. They are not communicating this fact with their customers and, as a consequence, my dog almost died during surgery of being in the latter stage of a fatal condition. (I took her to another vet as soon as I realised the staffing situation). This could have been avoided had there not been a delay. What’s more, I hand delivered a letter to Ivy Lodge outlining my experience, and have received no response. This is from a vet I have been using for nearly 12 years. I don’t think they care!

My family have been bringing our pets to Ivy lodge veterinary Clinic for over 20years.
I have no qualms with the Vet, my issues is with the receptionist. I am a receptionist myself dealing with end of life patients.
I rang the clinic to make an inquires as my dog has MD and will need to be euthanized at some point in the next few weeks. I was feeling very teary even having to ask questions regarding this, however the young receptionist made it very obvious that I was an in convenience to her day, she was without compassion and could not wait to end the phone call.
This member of staff could do with some training on how to speak to the human customers.
I am so upset that I will not be using this veterinary clinic again.

lovely people who really care about the pet you bring in. My Lexi had a little accident and they were so polite and kind. Definitely recommend and reasonable pricing too

Lovely vets, would've given 5 stars but told today the cost of a treatment which was £8 has gone up to £15. Over 100% increase, sorry I think that is extortionate! Further update, they now charge £10 to fill in your pet insurance form, obviously finding ways to make up money lost in lockdown. Will now be trying to find a vet elsewhere which is a shame because the vets have always been lovely with our dog.
