What a caring vets. So ready to guide you in the right direction

Not very happy at all with our last dealings with this place. We have been good customers of theirs for 10 years! We took our poor dog to this vet after she was having difficulty breathing and chocking all time. After expensive tests, I am told my dog is very poorly with heart disease and an enlarged heart. We are please that there is some hope and to try her on some medication for a week to see if the symptoms ease. This was on the Saturday morning and we where told to ring in on the following Saturday to let them know if the medication had worked and then they would subscribe more. We where over the moon to find the medication was very effective, so we phoned on the Saturday morning, and was promised a call back by the vet to review and get a further subscription. No call back even after chasing, Saturday passed, Sunday passed and now my dogs symptoms have come back (absolutely heart breaking to see this again) and sleepless nights looking after her. Monday we chased the vet again, still no call back, chased again, no call back all the time my poor little dog is getting worse. On the Tuesday my wife went in and demanded to see the vet, who had the cheek to say, you should have called in Saturday as planned and not let the medication lapse!! well that was it, it was a good job it was my wife that was there and not me!!

I don't know what I would do if our dog passed away due to their incompetence. Not good enough, not good enough at all. This place has gone down hill, you never see the same vet, but most of all Stop with taking as much money as possible and start caring more about our beloved pets !!

This vets are money grabbing sods. I've been several times and they refuse to provide the simplest of services for my pets. My previous two vets always did a once over to check everything was okay. Costs were upfront. This vets will do the bare minimum and charge a fortune. I asked for a prescription for Milbemax several times and each time I get told they'll do it, and they never do. They have given me attitude at reception when I've asked, and try and charge me for things they never did. Then tell me I'm lucky they didn't charge me for seeing all my pets (they saw one and not the other two). They tell me I haven't brought them in for vaccines, when I have, and even had vets taking photos of my pets. They haven't been updating my records and then wanting to charge me again to do something that's already been done.
Ashford is just awful for services as they are few and far between, and your only options are excessively expensive places.

The vets are lovely and they clearly care for the animals. But thats where my positive experiences end. The phones never work properly, it just says staff are busy and hangs up. They never call you to update you on your pet if they're in for a stay, or call you back if you need advice- you always have to call them. And then you come back to the same issue of the phones not working. The vets have given me different opinions too, I respect that answers aren't clear but it is sometimes worrying when different vets give you different advice. The prices are incredibly high and I feel the service doesn't reflect the hundreds of pounds I'm giving them every month at the moment

So happy with the care my cat Rosie receives every time we visit Kingsnorth surgery. Absolutely wonderful staff. Would recommend them without hesitation! Rosie receives excellent care and prompt treatment whenever we attend. First class in every way.

Vets were nice. If your pet is stressed, then you can take a buzzer and wait outside or in your car.
