Bad experience. My cat nearly died. She had eaten a foreign object which was stuck in her gut. Vomiting. Not eating.Took her to vet on Monday again on Tuesday admitted no X-ray or ultrasound treated her for urinary kidney infection, some of the vets were good but very inconsistent care different vet every day with different diagnosis. I know its not common in 5 year old cats. She was fading away not eating. Finally good vet on Saturday who thought something not right got her to Royal Veterinary College on Sunday - scan showed the object and they removed it successfully that evening.Totally lost faith in them and will never go back.

We have a cat and dog; and both have undergone significant operations as well as routine health checks. Excellent practice with skilled, understanding and caring staff. We trust them implicitly.

Dog loves the place and gets to see her favourite vet! Great pet-side manner as usual. Sound un-flowery assessment and advice. No problems

We were with Attimore Vets for nearly 10 years with my dog. Firstly, we took him in for some check ups and a scan when he was younger because we were unsure about a growth on his leg joint. We were told nothing abnormal about the results until 7 years later when the vet looked back through his records and said to us that he’s had arthritis since he was 3 years old. But we were never told this by anyone! I tried to complain about this to the head of the practice, only to be told it’s my word against theirs. They tried to claim they called me at the time but I said I was on holiday and i’d call them back but I’ve checked and I wasn’t away on that date. Such a shame that our dog was living with arthritis for all that time and we could have been helping him with it. Additionally, if they knew he had arthritis why didn’t they ask at each of his yearly check ups how it was? We were never asked.

Soon after this I took him back because I noticed a change in his eye. He was looked at and they said it doesn’t look like anything to worry about So when the time came to renew insurance, I switched because it was a better deal. We’ve now changed Vets as well, who have informed us that they think the eye problem is a tumour so he’s having his eye removed!! AND we’re not covered by our insurance because it’s classed as a pre-existing condition as I had previously mentioned it to Attimore, who made us think it was nothing to worry about.

I’m sure it’s just a series of unfortunate events but I would not use Attimore Vets ever again.

Very expensive. It's now £48 for a consultation and medication that I could have bought in the chemist over the counter, but obviously they wont or can't tell you this. But why they charged over 4 times the price is a mystery. Nearly £98 for my dog's conjunctivitis seemed rather excessive.

Gill is outstanding, the only vet in the world (other than Imre) we'd trust with our little girls.
