Vets4Pets - Selby

So the Vets themselves are lovely and polite HOWEVER I have a 10 week old puppy who got her first jab on 7/6/20 when she was exactly 8 weeks old. The vet failed to give me any choice in the vaccine, didn't even tell me her weight and because I didn't get a choice she has to wait until she's 12 weeks old to get her second vaccine. So by the time I can take her for walks she will be 13 weeks old. This is awful, and if you are a dog owner you will know that 8-12 weeks is the MOST important time in a puppies life as this is the time they develop fears etc. However, due to the vet giving her a vaccine that takes a MONTH she is going to miss out on WEEKS of socialization which is likely to affect her in the long run.

And to top all of this off, I had a voucher for £50 off the first year of complete care, which means I should have only had to pay £35. I was asked if I would like to pay the full amount there and then, to which I said YES! However they completely ignored that and got me on a direct debit which is going to amount to £120, which is absolutely appalling and I feel completely ripped off.

Rachel the receptionist is brill! Always super friendly and helpful. Rebecca the vet is amazing and explained everything in so much detail so I could understand. They are both an asset to the practice.

Recommended by relative. Firstly, good parking. Excellent service received by everyone concerned. All staff pleasant and knowledgeable. Given another appointment for completion of medication and thereafter I am pleased to have found a vet for future needs. Thank you Vets4Pets.

Visited the vet's practice staff were helpful friendly and professional. Everywhere was clan and tidy

Went here a week ago to get my rabbit neutered, the receptionist and vet were both very welcoming and took good care of my rabbit. Upon collection they gave me lots of information about aftercare and encouraged me to call back asap if I had any concerns or worries. (my rabbit recovered very quickly and did not need to call back.) very satisfied with the care received.

Travelled to Vets4Pets Selby to see Sarah Blackburn, she is an amazing vet and an asset to your team. I trust her explicitly with my dog. Thoughtful, understanding and takes the time to discuss all aspects of your animals health.
