Medivet Folkestone Dover Rd - Havelock Veterinary Surgery

Opening hours are very short, just a couple of hours in the morning and evening mon-fri. Groggy looking place, can be difficult to park, if no space available outside. Care of pet seems okay, vet was nice enough. But overall impression not great.

Took my cat to see the vets, and didn't realise it was cash only. However, I had enough on me for consultation.

The lady on reception showed exceptional service, and help me work out a way of paying for the medication.

The vet was very good, and reassured me that my cat wasn't as ill as I worried about. Offered some great tips on alternative food, which was a great idea. I came away relieved.

Not even worth 1 star. My mum's cat had to suffer for 2 days before he passed away tonight. Could of done something to help but instead refused to help because they couldn't make a same day payment. They weren't expecting anything for free. Wouldn't be that difficult to set up a direct debit or payment plan so it could be paid. What kind of world do we live in where someone decides if an animal lives or dies based on money. 👏 round of applause

Useful RSPCA clinic run for those on low income, but very passive aggressive attitude towards those attending. Not everyone on benefits has scrounged all their lives! Just sad to see.

Took daughters cat for treatment through the RSPCA. Initial treatment was fine, but then only recommendation would have cost £100's. I thought the RSPCA was meant to help those in financial difficulties.

Took elderly ladies cat for check up today. Vet very pleasant and reassuring . Didnt try to add extras. Reasonable cost

Very nice & professional staff every time I visited especially the Spanish vet & blonde lady receptionist!

Rude.one vet Let my dog suffer, and the other didnt know how tohandle dogs. No amount of time or revamping will change that.
