Alcombe Veterinary Surgery

The service is good and professional. I am happy with the treatment and the care for my dog. Just the overbooking part is the bit I don't really appreciate.

Sorry, 15 minutes is not enough for quality vet service. Your booking protocols are not realistic.

I have 2 westhighland dogs and this vets is very near where we live. I have no problems with the treatment they recieve here along with the tips that help me to look after them better. The place is clean and the staff know your dogs name as you enter and sometimes they even get a treat. I would recommend this vets for anyone who loves their pet as much as I love mine.

Please please please do not trust these people with your fur babies. I almost lost my dog as they failed to diagnose something as simple as lung worm. Particularly if you have a frenchie avoid at all costs. They did not take her symptoms seriously and kept dismissing it as though it was just down to her breed despite me pleading that it wasn't. They took an xray that showed abnormalities in her lungs and told me nothing was wrong. It took almost £6,000 with the real experts at The Ralph to save her life, she was down to only 30% lung capacity and was riddled with worms. They have also failed to accept any responsibility. Whatever collection of good reviews there are on here please know that they were from a time when Dr Adam was running the clinic. Sadly all that is left there now are negligent charlatans who have no clue what they are doing. The clinic as a whole fails on so many fronts in ensuring basic care for your pet. It was only because I refused to accept their "expert" veterinary opinion that saved my dog's life. Seriously please run in the opposite direction and don't look back!

I have recently started attending with our new kitten Frodo, all of the staff have been brilliant.

This vet is one the of the most welcoming & friendly vets there is. They truly care about your animals and although my dog Frank is a nervous patient, he always feels better once he has the the warm welcome of everyone at Alcombe.

The vets at Alcombe in Whitton are amazing. They are so understanding and give lots of lovely attention to our dog Teagan who can get anxious going to the vets but Alice puts her (and us) totally at ease. Highly recommend and wouldn't dream of going anywhere else.

I recommend 100% this vet. Staff are such professional, helpful, considerate and friendly.
