Medivet Hyde Park

All three vets I've seen (Andrew, Mat and Amanda) have been so thorough and kind while dealing with my dog's mysterious limp. It has always been easy to get an appointment, and everyone I have dealt with at the practice has been friendly and helpful.

Very professional , Medivet did in depth look at our four year golden retriever health , the way Roxanne read our pet report , she was well versed in his condition like she knew him his entire life.

Medivet are extremely professional , it was our first time coming to this practice and we are very happy with the service.

I just got a new dog, a very small tea cup poodle and i took her for her first check up. The Doctor and the whole team was very friendly and professional, handling my little puppy with the most care and love.

The vets are very nice people but not good at their job. I brought my cat for a check up and it wouldn’t stand still Which is normal it’s a cat..
The vet asked ,” is she always like that ? I’ve never seen anything like this before… “

That just shocked me.. I have never seen a cat that stands still in my life before idk what cats they’ve been treating.

Called and said that they had no vets to provide my cat with an animal health certificate despite me having a confirmed appointment the day before travel! They did not assist in trying to refer me to an available OV vet to help with my situation (which was resolved thanks to another veterinary centre). They were unsympathetic to my situation and clearly could not care less about the stress their unreliability puts people through. Appalling service- will never recommend or go back to this vet.

We went to MediVet Hydepark to take our little furrball peanut for his first health check and vaccine.

Our Vet was Pablo Tobio, who is a very honest and kind vet.
From the past I am so used to vets just wanting to do tons of unnecessary tests that costs a fortune. I lived in the US and had a dog there, I also have two family dogs in Germany. So for the past 14 years I’ve came across a lot of “bad” vets.

Not Pablo Tobio , he didn't want to rush doing all tests at once. With the first test he already discovered the issue.
He explained everything with so much care & detail.
He put our dog on medication and 1/4 way in the treatment, our dog is already looking so much better.

We have four cats and we really think highly of this practice. This is a long standing reliable practice. From the first phone call your pet is treated like a rightful member of your family and that’s how it should be! All of the receptionists and nurses are so willing to help and are so polite and knowledgeable. Never have they left any query unanswered however big or small. As for the vet, we usually see Pablo Tobio because he knows our cats well from early on and he is fantastic. We have seen other vets in the practice and they are all very kind and caring. Pablo makes you feel at ease that your pet is in great hands. From surgeries to minor things. Most importantly your pet is treated just how you feel about them, that they deserve all the best care, all the attention when they are in need and also kindness, and taking their time for the less complicated day to day things. And that is what you get with the Medivet Connaught Sq. It’s really very special and we are lucky we are close to them.

We took our new kitten Gatsby to this vet after his paws were constantly swelling up and emitting pus - it turned out that he suffers from an overly aggressive immune system which attacks his paws and potentially other parts of his body so he had to wear a cone, eat particular foods and struggled with allergies.

After 2-3 months of careful and systematic treatment, Laura and Pablo were able to help us determine a treatment plan that helped him get better so he can grow up like a normal cat! They were attentive to his mental well being and looked for ways to give him the smallest doses of medication so he can have a normal life. 3 months later his fur has grown thick and fluffy and he's happy as can be.

Can't recommend this clinic enough - they really care about your pets and have always done their best for us.
