Paxton are genuinely a good vet, and have been great with my rescue Staffy Joey over the years
We get regular updates when Joey is due his checkups or worming tablets
They were amazing when Joey unfortunately got hit by a car
Chasing a Squirrel!
I wouldn’t be comfortable taking Joey anywhere else
Great Vets

Paxton have been brilliant with our cat since we got him a few months ago as a rescue. They’ve been attentive and also flexible when we or my parents have had issues taking him in due to transport problems. The receptionists are also kind and responsive and overall we’ve been very pleased with the level of care by the staff there.

The best veterinary surgery around, I've had my frenchie registered for nearly 3 years at Paxton vets. Now I have a new puppy who is also registered at the vets. Warm and friendly staff, always at hand to help, they are simply the best!

Excellent practice. Vets and staff are always empathetic and kind, have always given our pets wonderful care, and been very consultative with us on course of treatment. We started going to Paxton because they were our nearest practice but now we wouldn’t go anywhere else.

We visited Paxton Veterinary Clinic yesterday to get our boys 1st vaccine and microchip. We were made very comfortable from the moment we entered. He had everything done including a manicure and pedicure and was still a very happy puppy.

We had to wait outside the Gipsy Hill vet practice on a dark winter evening because of covid restrictions, but when my appointment was finished, a man was waiting inside with his cat. The vet sorted out my dog's problem, but couldn't help having some sort of sniffy attitude towards me and my kids who were under control. A few minutes of his time and some flea treatment cost the same as getting my car checked and fixed, so I don't think they're overworked and underpaid. Will be on the lookout for somewhere else to take my dog for any future needs.

Good service and they very caring handling my dog Bella for her treatment. Being a big dog she can can be handful but they were worth more than able to to rise to the challenge!
