I've been with the Village Veterinary Centre for a few years now and I've always been so impressed with the staff. Always friendly and kind to both the humans and animals and never judgemental (even when your Labrador eats an entire box of Celebrations or your lurcher has zoomies straight into some rusty barbed wire).

We moved away from the area but wanted to remain with them as our supervets. They have also provided excellent care for my Doggy Daycare clients over the years too (both personally for my clients but also through the business if there has been an emergency)

I wanted to write this review after the professionalism shown for an appointment that we had on Tuesday. It was just a check up, but I always leave feeling like we are in great hands and that if things do go wrong in the future with my two dogs they will be there to help us out as they always do. Thanks so much guys!

Avoid. More interested in making money than caring for your pet. Cat left untreated because of shocking customer service and no-one has bothered to find out how he is even though they have sold me a subscription to their 'healthy pet club'. They could at least pretend to care.
Update - nearly £100 cheaper for the same treatment at Priory Vets with no plan or fake special rate. Can't fault the care or communication there.

Inform customers about cost!!!
Inform customers there is a cost for the medication you hand out and how much the cost is, so customers have a CHOICE !! If they are willing to pay for very expensive tablets which are 500% more expensive than the same tablets for humans!
Without any explanation beforehand we received a call from rude receptionist for an over due balance, who, when I informed I was in a meeting began to threaten debt collection. I was unaware we even had an outstanding balance, or any other extra cost had been added! Especially when we had been at the Vet for a check up that morning and nothing was said.....Very misleading!

Had an appointment and was 10 mins late due to road closure, this was met by a very rude vet saying that she could not see the poor animal as we had arrived late, she eventually saw the cat on my insistance, took blood test and weighed her, gave a prescription and sent us away with an extortionate bill. Unfortunately this was only the start of rapidly increasing costs due to more blood tests, antibiotic injections, prescriptions and a stay at caterham pet hospital without ever diagnosing what was wrong with the cat. On all of the subsequent visits we were kept waiting a lot longer than 10 mins. Unfortunately we had to have the animal put to sleep.........

Efficient and so good with my little dog. I never have to worry when she goes there. They are always friendly all the staff thank you.
