Hornsey Vets and Cattery

Our 13 year old Malamute got sick really quickly. We took the decision to have him put down after thorough advice from the vet. They were brilliantly professional from start to finish and didn't bat an eyelid at the mess the big guy made. Thank you. X

When I got my kitten, she was a little underweight. She went in several times during that time, they had very caring and knowledgeable staff.

Nice friendly vets. Reasonably priced and in line with others. I found the vets to be extremely helpful with my Scottish fold kitten. It is a busy practice but the staff are constantly on their feet and keep customer service levels good and efficient face to face and over the phone. Receptionist does a fantastic job. Parking is a slight challenge as there are only a few spaces in front on the main road that is followed by a bus stop.

Wow, my experience wasn't great, it's never great every time I visit the place. Some of the staff are so rude. Especially the old nurse 😬 she speaks to you like the bottom of her shoes. The prices they charge for treatments are literally double than elsewhere. I bought flea treatments for my kittens. They charged nearly £25 for 2. I looked on Amazon and found the exact same products for £12 for 3 treatments! I bought some flea spray. They charge £26 for one can of flea spray. Admitted, the spray is the best on the market but I found the exact same product on amazon for £11 it's not acceptable! I also wasted over £60 on vaccinations for my kittens. I wasn't informed that they needed to be vaccinated again exactly a month after the first treatments or I'd have to start again. I waited a little longer than a month to be told I'd have to pay again. It seems this place
cares more about money than anything else. There's another veterinary surgeon a couple minutes up the rd, they charge less and they speak to their customers with respect!

After yet again being let down by Beaumont Sainsbury Animal Hospital yesterday- who refused to see me and my dying cat when I phoned distraught at 8am. Saying no available appointments. No sympathy or apologies from the callous receptionist. I visited here for the first time. The receptionists were kind and lovely and the Vet Victoria was wonderful. I would recommend this practice to anyone. If I get a pet in the future, this is where I'll be taking them. Thankyou so much for helping me yesterday . I'll never forget it. Mariaxxx

I really have mixed views about this veterinary surgery. My dog has ongoing issues, of which Alex was very caring, helpful and knew the plan for my puppy's care. I feel that he never pressured us into spending more money than necessary which was fantastic. However, Alex has now left and it would seem that no one knows what to do with my dog. I am constantly calling and being promised that someone will get back to me (if they answer the phone at all) and yet no-one does. My puppy needs urgent treatment as he is suffering. Also the quote that was given to us for his surgery is significantly higher then what Alex advised it would be, yet no-one seems confident enough to do the surgery. I really do not want to change vets, but at this point I think I may have no other alternative.

Excellent service from the receptionist and the vet.
Had a very sick cat, I was given an appointment right away and was dealt with by the most lovely receptionist/nurse and vet. They were understanding and helpful. Problem sorted and my cat is better. Thank you so much

Having been coming for 15 years which is now the age of my cat bugsy . I can honestly say that I wouldn't ever consider anywhere else.. Victoria is a very special vet who really goes way beyond the call of duty ! She is fabulous.
The staff otherwise are simply great too .💕💕
