Medivet Maidenbower

We had our first appointment here and can sadly say we shall never come back, the vet made us feel like the worst dog owners on the planet, she was rude and basically didn’t care at all about what we had to say or our dog, all she wanted was £6-800 pounds from us to clean our dogs teeth?? It seemed after we told her that we couldn’t afford that today she basically then didn’t want to listen to anything else we had to say? She even went over to her computer and started tapping away with her back turned on us, how rude!, I took my dog there because he had a huge lump on his side and was eating to excess and the vet couldn’t of cared less about that and just had a quick feel and dismissed it as a fatty lump? No biopsy offered or anything? She also told me to “ Stop feeding him so much” when I told her he was eating loads?No blood test offered to rule out anything? I have now taken him to another vets and they did a blood test and it turns out my dog has a thyroid problem that this vets couldn’t be bothered to diagnose!! Just awful disgusting behavior from someone who’s supposed to care about your pet, I will never step foot in Harvest vets again, she literally shouldn’t be working there she is rude and just wanted to get money out of us anyway she could! I will be filing a complaint to the RCVS and telling them this women needs looking into. Shameful behavior!

I looked at several vets and the reviews made me choose this vet at the Maidenbower practice.
I was not disappointed. The service from phoning up until my pet rabbits had been fully looked after wasn’t only friendly and professional they were very reasonable on there fees too.
There was a real sense of knowledge and understanding and great communication and as an owner this made me feel at ease that I had indeed chosen the right place to use.
I can’t recommend them enough.
My rabbits are so much better together and it’s great to see the results.
