Horsebridge Veterinary Practice

Fab place. Rosario runs a friendly, vetinary clinic with helpful staff in a clean and tidy environment. My dog recently had surgery and all the staff seem to take an interest in the well being of every pet through their doors. I also part of Help4hedgehogs and Rosario has been a godsend at treating some of our wild hedgehogs.

5* plus, can't fault this veterinary practice. On hols so needed help with our dog. Exceptional service, no slot but made one for him, brilliant vet & staff, Smudgie treated like a prince & today doing very nicely. THKU SO MUCH X

Not a good vet at all. I don't doubt their work quality is good hence the 2 stars but the way they treat animals and customers is disgraceful.

First off, I took 3 cats in to be spaid/neutered. The female cat I took in needed a checkup and she was absolutely petrified when she saw the vet who operated on her. This is a cat who isn't afraid of anything, so I just left then and there since she was okay.

They also charged me for the remainder of a relatives vet bill, which to their credit they did offer to refund it but ultimately it was pointless to do. I don't know how they managed that but instead of my bill being a reasonable amount, it eas eye watering. The admin there isn't great by the looks of it.

They also tried telling me my female cat needed about £600 worth if surgery which when I went to Pets At Home in Eastbourne they laughed and said they were having me on.

The ONLY upside to it is the quality of work itself is good. The stitches on my female cat were done properly and they didn't need pain relief for very long. So from that perspective they are decent and have earned slightly better than a 1 star review.

Certainly will not be going back there however with the treatment both myself and the cats had. Would not recommend.

We haven't been with this vetinarary practice long, but in the time we have, we'd never leave. The Vets, Nurses, and Reception ladies have been nothing but kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, and for the animals.

After a very bad experience at Companion Care, this practice has restored my faith in Vets and is very for the animals and not the money.

We can't thank you all enough!

These people genuinely care about animals unlike the vets in Pets at Home, they are in it for the money. I cannot recommend Horsebridge Vets enough, you love your pet, then your pet is in good hands.

Great if your animal needs putting down but that's about it. Will never try and use them for anything medical related again. Wish we had gone elsewhere :-(

We were on holiday nearby, and one of our dogs had difficulty breathing. We rushed to the nearest vet and luckily it was Horsebridge. To cut a very long story short, the next day he needed a tracheotomy, we were in such a state as we were so close to losing him. Rosario and the Claires ( both of the Claires) were so kind, helpful and caring and he pulled through. Now we are back home in Scotland, his tube has been removed, and he is his usual playful self again. We can't thank everyone at Horsebridge enough for everything they did for us, and I can most highly recommend this practice.

They were and always have been fantastic, we went through grief the day we went and they couldn't have been more abliging and looked after our little princess like she was their own thank you so much for all your support Horsebridge would recommend you a 1000%
