Amazing Chapel en Le Frith surgery . Receptionists , nurses and vets have always been there for both our dogs and ourselves. We have personally always had confidence in them , they've never overcharged us and the welfare of our greyhounds always came first along with kindness and care .

We've been using Victoria Vets ever since we inherited mum's old dog, who unfortunately had to be put to sleep as he lost all use of his motor skills. The care and empathy shown, particularly by Ellie, made a heartbreaking situation bearable. I'll never forget her kindness.

Since then we have rehomed 2 older dogs both now 13 and 14 yrs old. As you'd expect with older dogs there's always something to attend to. Every single time we've visited we have been dealt with professionally, expertly (given all the restrictions with Covid it's a miracle in itself) and with compassion for our animals- and us.

I would never take our dogs anywhere else.
Thank you for all that you have done and continue to do - xxx

Recently registered. Phoned in to the Chapel practice on a Saturday to request our pets usual flea and worming treatment. Refused by Dr Victoria Jane Williams-McDaid who advised that because the pets were not in their care and had not been seen this year, they could not prescribe POM-V. Clearly not true.

Made a complaint; Dr Rebecca Davies (practice manager) essentially repeated the same misinformed advice, "Until we have clinically examined ... we will be unable to prescribe POM-V products" before informing me to go somewhere else. My advice? If your vet fails to advise properly in respect of something as simple as prescribing POM-V medication and tells you to change practice when challenged, do just that.

I cannot speak for any other vet at this practice but "the quality of a front door speaks volumes for the rest of the house" comes to mind.

The RCVS guidance can be found on their website which confirms they could have prescribed the medication remotely.

If the practice is minded to reply and that reply adds and/or departs from the advice already given, I will take further action to remedy the inadequacy in their standards.

Honestly cannot recommend this vets enough. Both of my border collies have been with them since birth and they are now 8. My little lady Dotty has recently been diagnosed with diabetes and has almost completely lost her sight. The support that I have received from all the staff at both Chapel and Glossop has been amazing and I cannot thank them all enough

We were on holiday in Chapel en le Frith when our beloved dog was taken very ill, Victoria vets went above and beyond to help us, sadly not with a happy outcome but they did everything they could and with such compassion

Took our elderly cat to Victoria Vets in Chapel and the care, compassion and support we received from Ele in such a difficult time for us all meant the world to us. It was clearly time for our best friend to pass on and Ele treated her with such dignity, respect and care. We will never forget your kindness thank you

Our 13 year old whippet had a one way ticket for over the rainbow. The staff were supportive, explained what was to happen and even after she had gone they manoeuvred her with great respect. We were allowed to take our younger whippet in so he could sense she had passed. For us and him it seems to have helped.
