Kingfisher Veterinary Practice

Very nice vets. Saw my dogs very quickly. Friendly staff and plenty of parking.
Update: seen these vets a few times now and they are totally brilliant. They were extremely kind and patient with my crazy 9month old collie when he was being neutered! 😆 Highly recommended! (Picture is of Bones, post surgery and a few days later 😉. Totally fine)

We’ve always received extremely wonderful care from these vets. Reception are wonderful, the nurses are great and stepping in when needed and the vets are lovely.
Also a special thank you for our card after the passing of our beloved family cat. We will be planting the seeds enclosed in her memory, a really lovely touch.

Bought my dog down after she ingested chocolate. All the staff acted really quickly in getting her treated and they were all lovely to a worried dog mama. Would definitely recommend Kingfisher vets!!

These guys are brilliant! We recently moved to the area with our dog who was really scared of going to the vets. She needed her boosters jabs doing, however the vets recommended that we come down for a few social visits first (play times, have some food, explore etc) and they were so good with her.
A few weeks later we got her jabs done and she was completely fine with the whole experience. In fact we are doing another social visit soon just to keep her confidence up.

The staff here are so friendly and caring, it's been a pleasure using them.

Very good vets, been with them for 25 years. All staff caring and knowledgeable.

Our experience has been mixed. Reception staff have been great and really friendly and kind to our dogs, particularly one who is quite nervous as she is a rescue. Unfortunately when it came to having her annual vaccinations it was clearly a bad day for the vets. They only had one vet on duty and we sat in reception for nearly 30 mins past our appointment time. When I asked if I could get the injections done or should I re-arrange one of the veterinary nurses (I think, as opposed to a vet but not sure) appeared. She explained they didn’t have any spare consulting rooms and then said they would have to do the injections in the back room area. She then took my dog’s lead and headed off. I asked if I could go with my dog and she said no. Before I could do much about it they had gone. She returned with my dog who was very scared and on subsequent visits to the vet she has been really terrified. Luckily the most recent vet visit was with someone that was very patient and kind to her so I think she is more confident now. I appreciate the surgery may be under-staffed and stressed but one small action like that did temporarily set our dog back as well as the person being quite rude to me.

Always helpful and clearly care for all pets.

From the receptionists to the vets themselves, everyone is very friendly and welcoming. We've always had a fantastic service over the 5+ years we've been coming here, nothing seems to much trouble. They're always very happy to explain what they're doing and answers any questions we've had about treatments etc.
