Vets4Pets - Harrogate New Park

Efficient, communicative. Care for my pet was clear. Good guidance and follow up procedure clearly discussed and planned. My cat was being spayed - I was told clearly what the procedure would entail. A call was made to let me know all had gone well and I was able to take her home a few hours later with clear guidance on how to care for her over the coming days. A follow up appointment was booked for 3 days later to check on progress. All staff were friendly, caring and helpful.

Very good vets, always being helpful. Used very regularly for the cats and our chihuahua. Staff very friendly and helpful Certainly recommend

Came here to just weigh my dog, as I usually go to weigh at the same vets in another part of town, anyway I entered. It was busy so I waited, and the receptionist asked me can I help you I replied yes i just want to weigh my dog.

Then a customer moved so I could access the weighing scales.

Before I could get there I was rudly asked my the receptionist "is your dog vaccinated"

He's nearly 3 years old.

I was taken back my this comment, is it because of the size of my dog or what.

Made me feel so low.

Any it was completely out of order and rude.

Will not be using that vets again for sure.

Insanely expensive when compared with other local vets but you are seemingly guaranteed much quicker service which can be important at times. You have to make the decision if you feel it’s worthwhile.

Excellent service after we found two kittens, the staff were very friendly and checked kittens for chips so we could send them home.. Whilst the kittens weren't chipped, by the power of facebook they were returned home. But the vets were most helpful.. in fact we are going to get a kitten and will use this vet services. Thanks.

Stopped stocking some popular items but a reasonable selection

Lovely vets at this one unlike the other one in this area. They are very good at there job and love all breeds of animals. Great for parking, spaced out seating area. Lovely admin ladies. I always use there vaccination packs vacs for life as its a great price and your pets covered for its life time.

These staff here are very helpful and friendly. Reception are always welcoming and like to make a fuss out of the cats to make them feel at ease. The veterinary staff are informative and helpful, and always able to offer advice. Great service all the time.

Edit: this was a 5 star review but service over the last 2 years has gone down hill. I wouldn't recommend this establishment anymore unless you want over priced work at a basic level. We tried to book a spay in several times and told it wasn't an emergency, but as soon as the cat got pregnant (she escaped out the window) an abortion was readily offered.
