What a lovely place for a wedding, I was the photographer (Te Amo Wedding Photography), nice and bright venue, staff were great, everything ran smoothly. Nice evening area, great DJ. 5/5

The staff were amazing. The food was outstanding. And the surrounding area for photographs is just stunning.

I've been going to Bashall Barn on and off for 15 years and watched it grow in size as it's nearly 3 times the size of what it used to be
The barn used to have a nice cafe and an interesting farm shop with good quality food and crafts and exhibits of art work
Unfortunately it's not as good as it used to be as the barn caters more now to weddings, but still worth the trip due to excellent rural location

Where do I start with a review on Bashall Barn! Wow wow wow.
If you're debating booking the most beautiful venue, what are you waiting for!?
Due to the pandemic leading to numerous date changes for us and then venue changes, it led to us finding this dream of a venue! And we now say we are glad of the stressful date moves because we ended up here!
Our wedding manager, Flo, is an absolute dream and such a huge credit to Bashall. From the moment we first spoken to her and then met her, I knew our day would be everything we imagined and more. And my goodness, it completely exceeded our expectations!! From our 6 month meeting to our final meeting to our special day, Flo was there throughout with nothing ever being too much and she just understood everything we wanted and met every ask! Nothing was ever too much. It shines through so brightly just how much her job means to her and running your special day, every detail and everything she does is putting you at the forefront of anything else and I genuinely cannot believe just how amazing she was! Absolute credit to the venue and a dream to work with. Thank you so much Flo, from the bottom of our hearts, we will be forever thankful for YOU!
As well as Flo, every staff member was absolutely amazing and were there for you providing an exceptional service. I do just want to shout out Leanne who I personally found so incredible, making sure every detail you wanted in the rooms was complete. From when she brought our breakfasts she was on hand! And even in our final meeting we saw her and the detail she puts into laying bits like the tables out, is absolutely amazing. We really appreciate you Leanne and thank you so much for everything!
The venue itself is simply out of this world. From the beautiful and elegant rooms from the unbelievable views from the decor from the free wedding store from the bridal suite from the guest bedrooms... the list goes on! Every bit is faultless and it shows through so clearly what the venue means to Simon & Rebecca and the team which they somehow manage to keep improving even when you feel nothing more can be improved! This venue isn't just your average venue, this is a family who prioritise couples and provides them with the dream. Our guests all throughout the day and even now are saying "this is the best wedding we've ever been to, where did you find this venue, it's the best we've ever been to..." and so much more! Which speaks volumes.
Our day completely exceeded anything we could have ever imagined and we know this is because we picked this venue. They ensured everything we wanted was met even allowing our Dog who was our ring bearer stay the night with a Chaperone lady with him. The most Dog friendly venue AND staff!! Our Dog, Barney, also took a shine to Flo too!!
I could go on and on writing this review, there is not on negative about any of it.
Bashall Barn & Team - Thank you SO much for making our day the day we wanted and more. We will be forever grateful for you for making all of our dreams come true.

Lovely country venue for weddings

My husband and I got married at Bashall Barn in November 2022, and it was the most perfect day.
Bashall was the first venue we looked at and I instantly fell in love. My husband wanted to look at a few more places first, and after looking at a handful more he agreed that none of them even came close to being as lovely as Bashall.
As the owner of an events company I can be quite hard to please and have really high expectations, but the team here did an amazing job, and surpassed all of them.
My bridesmaids and I had the loveliest night before the wedding in the suites, drinking prosecco and getting excited for the day ahead. The morning was a dream, we woke up to stunning views and everything was just so chilled. That was in large part to Alice Rose Bridal Hair and LouMac Makeup, as they both did a fantastic job of getting all 9 of us ready, with no stress. If you have having a wedding at Bashall I highly recommend them both! The setup team at Bashall were so lovely. They had heard I was having a Harry Potter theme and so they decorated our table for breakfast in a Harry Potter style and even made me a broom out of leaves, which was so thoughtful I could have cried! I went over every detail with them in the morning of how I wanted the room to look and they nailed it, it was exactly my vision.
The day itself ran like clockwork (apart from the grooms party being fashionably late, but that was no fault of the venues!), and that was all down to our wedding coordinator Flo. Flo was fantastic and I cannot thank her enough. She looked out for our needs the whole day, from holding my train for me after my last bridesmaid had gone through, to making sure we had a glass of fizz after the ceremony, and that canapes were put aside for us.
All of our guests have commented on what a great, stunning venue it was, and how lovely the food was.
I could go on and on, but all I have to say is if you are thinking of booking Bashall then just go ahead and do it! You will not regret it. They go above and beyond to help you make any wacky idea you have happen - we even had a rodeo bull setup by the bar!
Thanks again to the whole team, you are truly fantastic.

Beautiful venue and well worth the 3hr trip! Loved the hidden away areas that open up as the day went along and the veiws are to die for, made me miss my Northern home! Fab parking too!
