Just visited for lunch and a couple of drinks. Very welcoming staff, lovely atmosphere. Spiced parsnip soup and mushroom and tarragon for starter. Both delicious. Piping hot and served with warm crusty bread. Mains of cheese and tomato quiche with chips and salad and beef and onion baguette with chips and gravy. Both were fabulous. Large portion sizes and very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend a visit here if you are in the area. 👍🥰

Thanks for accommodating 3 adults, 3 children and our pooch at short notice for an early evening meal. The food was delicious, the surroundings were homely and the staff are lovely. We were all made to feel very welcome.

Lovely place and the food was great and the service was good. Large portions too. It was busy which is a good sign only little thing would be it was very warm.

Very homely feel to the pub, friendly and helpful service and great traditional pub grub. The home made steak and Ale Pie was gorgeous 😋😋!! Will be back again.

Good food and plenty of it. Standard pub grub. The children’s meals were good but not many options, especially as the pizza were off the menu. Set in a beautiful looking village. Nice outside area to sit on when the weather is good.

Lovely pub in a fantastic location with excellent food and friendly staff. We stopped by chance and stayed for lunch. Lots of out door seating with lovely views and plenty of space for indoor dining too. Well worth seeking out.
