A large and friendly sports bar with a good sized outdoor seating area. Huge screens with BT and other sport channels. Live test match cricket was on when I visited. We especially liked the artwork around the courtyard. It's kept neat too which is always good to see. Too many pubs aren't well kept these days and I'm not surprised lots are shutting. The castle isn't one of them. Good work landlord.

Walked into this club last night as I'm not from around here greeted by friendly bar staff and owner, wanted to watch the football and they were more than accommodating good beer food looked awesome. I will be back when in the area again thank you.

We've just had the best Sunday lunch in a very long time, the food was excellent and the service was great too x would definitely recommend 😍😍
