Some of the nicest staff you'll ever have the privilege to meet. Their food is great (don't let the 'DIRTY BURGERS & FAT PIZZAS' put you off - the portions are definitely generous but they're great quality too. New roof garden is ace in the late afternoon sun and the fireplace is perfect for the colder evenings. If your in the area, this is a top choice.

Came for a Sunday lunch and was fantastic. Had to pre book and good job we did as they were fully booked (and can see why!). The set up for social distancing was very good with everyone informed about it on arrival but did not detract from the experience, lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended and we will be back

From the outside and being on a main road looks a bit shabby. But once inside greeted by very nice and helpful staff. I have walked and drove past this pub for 40years and never been inside until today. It has a very nice garden at the back with a rooftop terrace where we had something to eat.menu was limited due to vivid but food was enjoyable.

Lovely little pub. The upstairs is great in the summer! The food is delicious, especially the wings. They trialled a pub quiz there which was AMAZING but it's stopped now - would be great if they could get a regular quiz going.

Sweet little pub. The cutest little dogs reside there and it's a comfy, friendly atmosphere. Drinks are reasonable and service is fast. A lovely little garden area and rooftop in the summer. Cozy and easy going. Perfect for an evening with friends.

The Crane serves a very nice Sunday roast. The roast beef and the vegetable wellington were both delicious. Service was very good. The pub also has a great selection of beers

Beautiful little pub with friendly staff and an amazing veggie roast! (I'm sure the rest is also good, though we didn't try)

Booked table online and got a confirmation email. Extremely warm welcome on arrival, was expecting us. Accommodated our 8 month old baby with a high chair. Delicious food and friendly staff. Had hand gel on entrance and exit. One way systems in place in and out and all staff wearing face masks or visors. Would definitely recommend and go back. My only comment would be they did not have any baby changing facilities but as my baby is still small we could do it where we were sat no problem. Thank you for a great evening.
