Bustling pub with a friendly welcoming atmosphere.

Full of racist people, went there for a birthday party, being English I was ok (all though i was stopped at the door until they heard my accent) my friend's had issues in the bathrooms where people started fights with them in the bathrooms because they are romanian. ....

I used to go here before but it got really rough and I stopped going for 2 years. I called in last week with my hubby and it had changed, it is really nice now

Nice local pub with a great welcoming and friendly host.

Sadly... this Pub has a poor reputation, But! Once you're over that first time nerves... its alright! The Landlord is fairly reasonable and the drinks flow as any other pub. Although there is a limited choice of 'top shelf' booze. It has a pool table, darts and a gorgeous log fire in the winter.
It also hosts 2 coffee morning groups for the local church and a social group during the morning.
It's very spacious for apparatus. It has clean toilets. Its downside.... they do not serve food of any kind and the punters can be more than rowdy..

Solid local boozer. Well run establishment, clean and tidy. May not be everyone's idea of the ideal drinking hole however it serves good beer by a traditional landlord in a spotless environment. Seems to be well frequented by the locals so no need to say any more. Large car park and outdoor seating area.
