Fantastic night made to feel very welcome by all … great atmosphere and laughs all round :) will go back

£5.50 for a pint of San Miguel. And when I said "blimey that's expensive", the barman said "I wouldn't know, I only work here".

No wonder there were only 4 people in the pub (plus 1 dog).

No live music. No sky sports or BT Sports. This pub should be an attraction for locals, people using the Christchurch Railway Station across the road and visitors to the town who would prefer non-tourist pubs but if management keep up with 'West End Pricing' then expect another apartment block on this site in the near future.

Good old fashion locals style pub.. very clean and friendly. Set on road junction of busy town road and with small enclosed rear garden.
Great selection of beers, lagers and spirits.
Serving team really helpful and reasonably priced too.
Lager served in glasses from the fridges perfect on a hot day.
Clean but basic decor, (don't let that put you off ), clean facilities and good welcome too.
One I will return to for sure.

Super friendly pub, nice selection of pies (and pizzas) if you're hungry. Nice range of beers and spirits. Will definitely be back...

Good old fashioned pub, nicely done but not over the top. Good selection of beers, no Peroni on draught which is my only critism. Plenty of off road parking, and friendly staff.

The beer garden is amazing inside it is a trad working man's bar nothing wrong with that,

Excellent Landlord, friendly and enthusiastic. Great bar staff too. Good choice of drinks, too.
