Nice and local and on the door step. There was a need for some refreshment on Saturday lunch time, Very busy, very friendly helpful staff who acknowledged you at the bar. Worth a trip and yes, the pint went down very well. Thank you

Today we took our friend to lunch, having booked a table first. It gets very busy. My wife and her friend had senior fish and chips and mushy peas. I ordered the All day breakfast. Absolutely first class. The fish and chips portions were plenty big enough. My breakfast, two eggs, two sausages, two bacon, two halves of toast, beans and chips. Not forgetting the butter. We also had a tonic, half a bitter, and a coke. Plus I had received a voucher for a free drink. There were 5 to choose from. Have been having lunches here for years. Definitely worth it. Will be back in a few weeks.

Came here for an evening meal while visiting family. As part of the Greene King family I was glad to see they had a gluten free menu. Plenty to choose from. Staff all friendly and helpful and food excellent.

Wonderful menu choices are available. Very good ambience and had a good lunch in an relaxing atmosphere. Food quality was good and was served within reasonable time.

Busy, cosy and warm. Good selection of drinks but you've got to be lucky to find a seat. Only downside is the gents toilets smell horrific

Still brilliant, having been going here longer then my last 23 year relationship. Good food, punters are locals. Less drunks now tho!? Will keep going back.

Very welcoming good value food prices. Clean and tidy, just right for lunch. We had the seniors, lunch, very tasty.
