Popped in here for work,
A stunning little pub set in a small village.

This pub is a hub for the locals with a lot of the villagers using it to meet and enjoy the food.

The food that was coming from the kitchen looked and smelt amazing,
When I was working in the kitchen you could see the chefs taking the time to make every dish look perfectly presented.

my taste buds were on overdrive...
so much so that I had to order chips to go... and they didn't disappoint 😋😋

As per usual my work took me right into the heart of the building and it was exceptionally clean and tidy throughout.

All the staff were really friendly and chloe the landlady should be really proud that her pub / restaurant is so well presented in this idyllic little village.

I would highly recommend if in Weymouth area.

A well presented pub, looks nice inside and out.

Food was alright, burgers were nice, moist meat with a nice sauce but very heavy. Scampi was nice and light. Steak was very chewy and didn't look like a nice cut.

Pudding however was very nice and tje portions were very big.

Service - we were looked after well but the service was slow and we felt like we were forgotten about.

Great food and some fine ales.Really enjoyed the London Pride. Excellent fish and chips (the large was LARGE!)
Cheddar and stilton souffle starter was delicious as was the baked camembert to share. And the creme brulee with champagne sorbet and shortbread was delicious. We booked a table and it was very busy for a Saturday but there was room forwalk-ins. The pub is much bigger than I remember. Last time I visited was probably in the 1970's ! Staff provided a very friendly service too.

Excellent as always. Very friendly, welcoming and attentive staff and the food is really tasty with lots to choose from on the menu. They have a great gluten free selection on starters, mains and puds. They do burger, steak and pie nights which are a must and a great selection for vegans.
Overall a really enjoyable meal at a fantastic little pub, thanks for a couple of great nights.

Very nice 👌 provided a bed for our pup while we had lunch. Very attentive staff. Beer was ice cold on a hot day. What more can you ask

Perfect place for Sunday lunch. I had cheese soufflé starter and nut roast mains and both were delicious. The cauliflower cheese which accompanied the mains was the best I’ve had for a long time, including homemade! Staff were friendly and pub itself very nice, chairs exceptionally comfortable. Definitely worth a visit.
