First time we have visited The Old Lodge and we were not disappointed. Food was excellent, which makes a refreshing change from the usual mundane pub fayre. Vegetarian risotto followed by the Ale Cake with Toffee sauce and ice cream was divine as was the Sea Bream that my husband had. Staff very friendly and the service also good. Another plus is they are a dog friendly pub which is a plus as they are situated on Minchinhampton Common. Would give a higher rating if possible - just brilliant.

Beautiful setting up a long road through the Minchinhampton common, surrounded by cows and horses. My welcome was warm, it was busy but was full of what were obviously locals all having a good time. My food was excellent. I asked for rice instead of potatoes and this was no issue. The key lime cheesecake was delicious. Thanks for a lovely meal 10/10.

Return visit, just as amazing, Scotch egg, followed by fish and chips. Lovely staff and an excellent meal!

Stayed here for my friends wedding! It’s an absolutely stunning hotel in a great location with shops nearby. The restaurants food wasn’t the best but the staff were friendly and lovely! If you’re ever there for a wedding book your cabs in ADVANCE as they don’t have many cabbies and they get booked up fast!!

Great food and service. The hall can seem a little noisy due to the acoustics of i the open area and walls, but there are a number of smaller cosy rooms and tables in the original building. Either way the food is great and service was also very good. Will certainly go again.

Situated on Minchinhampton Common this is a little gem.
Bigger than you think it has a big restaurant and a couple of additional rooms plus a central bar with real ales.
Busy and food good value if a bit more expensive than other places
Busy and great atmosphere.

Super friendly, very lively pub. Came for a festive lunch but not too many festive items on the menu. However, burger was declared delicious by DH and I very much enjoyed the cauliflower curry. Great service, fun atmosphere

Love this place, food is so good, great staff, great in summer and winter and all the bits in between. Definitely one of our regulars and favourites.
