Solid 4 star pub with classic fare and generous portions though let down by average desserts. We had mushroom risotto and squid for starters, roast lamb, mussels and gluten free streak pie for mains, and crème brûlée and rhubarb and apple crumble. The starters and mains were great. The crème brûlée was slightly heavy with the oil coating your tongue, while the crumble and fruit inside were undercooked and very sour. Very nice decor and friendly waiters

It will not disappoint you. Very hungry after visit Tulip festival in Hampton Court Palace. This bar and restaurant just on the opposite street from the Palace entrance, think it may be so so ( based on travelling experience in the tourist area). It’s totally wrong! The staffs are very friendly, food portions are very generous and taste good, price is reasonable. And they provide light lunch before 5pm. The decor, food, service…everything is good to me. It’s really a nice place !

A local favorite (according to the a Hampton Court staff member)Pub with a vast selection of British beer and well prepared, tasty food. Relaxed and very friendly atmosphere.
Several cozy corner tables.
This Pub is across the street from Hampton Court. After a long misty day touring the Palace this was a warm and welcomed retreat.

Very good service with very friendly staff: we stopped by for lunch after visiting Hampton Court. I had the beet root burger and my husband had the chicken leek pie. Both were very good. We topped it off with a mini sticky toffee pudding (with ice cream) which was very tasty.

Definitely worth a visit here

Service was good, and pub is really nice inside. Food is very average, think Whetherspoons.

Crispy squid was pretty greasy and had freezer burn. They can only do the burgers well done not medium, which means they don't meet the hygiene/processing standards to be served rare, so presumeably are from a packet. At £16.45 in a busy pub, it's a bit odd they aren't making their own fresh burgers.

Chips came out cold, but were quickly replaced.

We loved it! We’re really disappointed not to get to the Brassiere next door but this was a blessing. The food was restaurant quality not pub grub. The menu has lots of variety (it was a Sunday and I can’t stand a Roast). We were so happy with our food - I emptied my plate. Evidence below. Love it - recommend it - will be back. The guys who work here are just lovely - immaculate service and the decor is nice. Beautiful area upstairs too.

Had a fantastic meal at the Mute Swan. Service was lovely and the food was delicious! We had the chicken with gnocchi and the korean fried chicken burger. We also had sticky toffee pudding for dessert which was amazing!

Will definitely be coming again.

What an awesome gluten free menu! Lovely place, faultless service. We both had the steak pie and shared a sticky toffee pudding. I’m still full several hours later(!)

Will be coming back again I’m sure.
