Looking for a fun and delicious spot for a quick bite or to relax and hang out with friends? Look no further! The host/bar tender was very accommodating of all of our needs and wants. The food was delicious and as described in the menu. I highly recommend the chicken pie! The space is filled with light from large windows, and there is partially covered outdoor seating. There are even slot machines and a pool table and a wide drinks menu if that is your scene. I would definitely come back!

I went there for lunch the other day and ordered the 3 small plates deal. Dietary needs meant that I had to mess around with my order a bit. The girl taking the order was very patient and understanding as she said she has intolerance too. The food arrived quickly and had all the changes I had requested. When the girl brought the food over she was so friendly and enthusiastic. I will be back for more wings and meatballs soon!

This is a sports pub with good atmosphere. The burger was fantastic with some curry on it. Very unique. The barman was very nice and helpful. The only reason I cannot give the full five stars (even though I would love to) is because I ordered the grilled chicken breast for my pregnant partner who just cannot stand fried food at the moment and we were served the fried breaded chicken fillet.

I absolutely love this venue. Friendly and caring staff that will go above and beyond to cater for your needs day and night. Great value for money, well presented and delicious food! An all round winner for me.

Best English breakfast in town and friendliest straff there is. Perfect place to stay for a good time and sports. Would love to come back!

Cheap and cheerful. An eclectic mix of clientèle but overall a decent pub, as long as you're not into posh cocktail bars and don't mind it a bit rough around the edges. Main downside was having to pay £1.50 for a game of pool.

OK, so it's not the most up market place in town. If you want Instagram pictures across pretty lights with fancy drinks there are other places. However, what this place has is atmosphere it's fun, friendly, lively and welcoming. Staff are incredible, service is good. Food is usual pub fare but it doesn't pretend otherwise and its well cooked and usually pretty quickly served. What you can do here is come with family (kids and all) play pool, watch sports (if that's your thing, there are plenty of TV screens showing football, racing etc), have a reasonably priced drink, have a laugh and meet new people and just relax and enjoy yourself. Staff are definitely the friendliest in town and can't do enough to help you.
Has "club" nights Thur, fri and sat. Weekend nights are usually pretty busy and riotous fun! Pub quiz Sunday. Gin bar and good selection of usual spirits, beers and shots.
