This is a cracking pub anytime of day. Landlord & landlady are just lovely. Food most days. With a good skittles alley for use & hire. We are rehearsing a band in there too! Everyone is just great. We will be playing there too by way of a thank you one day very soon! We may also be doing a 65th private party yet to be confirmed. Brilliant pub! Great staff! Well, we just love the place. An Everards public house. Traditionally styled with separate bar and lounge rooms. It has a moderate-sized beer garden to one side of the building and a small car park to the other side (Station Street side).
It has an emphesis on Sports (including being in a pub poker league for which there are two dedicated poker tables in the lounge).
Friendly staff.

Called in for a Guinness whilst my daughter was at puppy class last night. Bar staff was lovely & everyone wearing masks whilst moving about. Table service with a smile behind a mask 👍

Nice friendly traditional pub. Everard's beer which is kept well.
Immaculately clean inside, lovely lounge area and great bar area with pool and darts.
