Excellent service. Good food and nice atmosphere. Just what we were looking for and great value for money too. Would recommend and go there again 🙂👍

Fish dishes very nice, with traditional but well made chips. Nice cider (Aspalls). Lovely banana split. The staff were friendly and attentive, checking that we had no allergies even. Plenty of car parking space . Dog friendly in bar and conservatory area, which had a pleasant outlook on fields with horses and donkeys.

It surprised me how nice it was on the inside. I know you shouldn't judge a book by the cover but I've driven past this place lots of times and never fancied going in. It was a lot bigger than I expected too. Nice tables and chairs, with plenty of room. Free WiFi with a complicated password written on a blackboard behind the bar. The food was OK and we were served fairly quickly.

We booked at very short notice, and were accommodated even though it was near the end of food service. It was busy for a midweek evening. Nice ambiance and I was impressed with the efficiency of the staff, however the food was disappointing, after reading all the positive reviews.

Our favourite place for special occasions, this one for our 49th wedding anniversary. Not too busy, nice table at a window, and the food, as always, was really nice.
