Just popped in for a quick bite to eat and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. I was greeted at the door with a smile and a warm welcome. The pub is lovely - nice atmosphere, super-clean and a good selection of beers and gins. I sat at my table and almost immediately my server (Victoria) came over and and took my drinks order after explaining what beers were available. My drink appeared quickly and Victoria took my food order after making me feel very welcome with her cheery nature. My food (cowboy burger) was nicely presented and cooked just as I like it. After another drink, I left very satisfied. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this place and I’ll definitely eat there again whenever I’m in in the area.

Haven’t been in over 10 years and back then the food was awful. But went with my husband and 2 boys and I was so impressed with the quality of food and the size of the kids portions . Really great value . Staff are friendly and customer service experience was excellent . Very kid friendly . They just need to offer some crayons so the kids can colour the other side of the kids menu. But excellent other then that !!

The food was ok … could do with some improvements which we commented on.

Absolutely spot on kind of place. We found this pub within a short distance of our campsite. We ordered 2 burgers and fries and the hunters chicken. At first I thought the portions looked small but it became apparent that they were perfect portion sizes. Staff were very pleasant. Great little find if we had been staying in the area any longer then we would definitely have gone back.

We were in need of a lunchtime break after some time on the road. The hamburgers were delicious! Molly/Sam were especially friendly and helpful. We had someone in our group who wasn't feeling too well from the drive. The servers accommodated special meal requests with patience.

I stopped by here for a lunchtime meal and chose the pie.

It came fairly quickly, hot and tasty, quite rich in flavour but found the gravy a bit thin (guess it was just ready-made diluted granules) and whilst the chips were good - dry and crispy -, the carrots were overdone and the peas somewhat hard, possibly leftover veg from a sunday roast.

The service was pleasant enough, and I'll still return when I'm passing by again, but the overall meal was sufficient to plug a gap and not really anything great to write home about.

Always have nice meals here, food comes out quickly & I’ve never had any problems with eating here. Staff are always polite & friendly and their Xmas decorations look beautiful 🎄

Popped in on the way back from Malvern just after Christmas for a meal. The food was really nice and cooked to perfection. The staff were also amazing, we had a very warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We will certainly be visiting again 😊
