The Merchants Arms

A SUBSTANTIAL MEAL ! Beers are immaculately kept and mine host is always cheerful when dealing with the banter. I don't usually eat Scotch eggs, but this place is home to the most wonderful example of this delicacy, home made by the landlady. Suffice to say its a rugby ball of scrumptious bar snack served with mustard or pickle, you can hear the angels sing when you eat it ! Busy on match days for both rugby and footy and deservedly so.

So glad we came across The Merchants Arms … lovely “local” pub. Great atmosphere and really friendly staff … so accommodating and the “Bloody Mary” I ordered was fab. Will def pop in again when we’re next in Bristol.

It is a very good pub lovely staff very welcome and friendly and helpful staff lovely food AND good drink and good beer and l would go back there again and again wonderful place l wish I could it 10 STARS it that good and people that were drinking their were friendly

The Merchant is a good old fashioned no frills pub serving beers, lagers and even Cheese & Onion cobs. Nice barstaff, good atmosphere always worth calling in for a couple.
